Purpose
The purpose of this directory is to provide Unimog owners with a means of contacting other
Unimog owners and businesses which support
Unimogs. Whether you are broken down in an
unfamiliar city and need assistance, or want to
meet people along the way who share the
same passion for these unique vehicles this
directory will help you along the way.
These people have provided their contact
information to help others and share their passion, so please be kind and do the same!

park a broken ‘Mog.
I can give advice on where to go
and/or what to do in my area.

Moggers.

The original Unimog Support
Directory was created years ago by Mike
Hiscox to be used a tool for traveling ‘Mog
owners. An invaluable tool to anyone on
the road. Whether they are in need of
help or just want to meet up with fellow
owners and share stories, that is something only this directory can provide on
this scale.
While I might be the one who
sits down and puts it all together, in the
end it is owners like yourself who make
this Directory truly useful. The only thing I
ask in return is for you to spread the word

I am a relatively new ‘Mogger, so let me
take you back to early 2009 shortly after I
had purchased my first Unimog. I met up
Bill Stauffer of Headliner Express in Orlando at a local Mercedes car show. He
had asked me if I had heard of the Mog
Support Directory, and I said no. He
pulled out a copy from under his 404’s
seat and handed it to me. After thumbing
through and getting a quick rundown, I
was absolutely blown away. I couldn’t
believe that all of these people were offering total support to what essentially could
be a total stranger; It didn’t take long to
for me to figure out these group of owners
were something special. I had been a part
of many automotive groups, but nothing
like this. Everyone so friendly and helpful,
perhaps something that came from owning such rare and unique vehicles. Needless to say I wanted in on this Directory. I
found the file on the Rocky Mountain
Moggers website, only to find that it was
several years out of date. I contacted the
original creator, Mike Hiscox, and asked if
I could help out updating the directory. I
was delighted when I got a very positive
response back. I probed the Mailing List
to gauge interest and again received positive input. Needless to say I decided to
get to work. The rest is history. I am happy
I can be a part of a community such as
this, and give everyone something they
can use in times of need or just recreation. Always happy to help!
