Wine Education and Tasting
After experiencing the winter that hopefully is now behind us,
everyone deserves a night out. What better way to do that
then supporting an essential community charity, Mount Saint
Joseph Foundation Inc., and at the same time experience an
educational opportunity tasting a wide variety of beer and
wine from all over the world. Jim and I welcome everyone
to the Rodd Miramichi and thank you for coming to this
important fund raising event.
Again this year, the Rotary Club of Chatham is donating
100% of the net proceeds to a specific Miramichi charity.
The Mount Saint Joseph Foundation Inc. desrves our support
and we hope you will be as generous as Miramichi citizens
demonstrate time after time. The funds raised will be used
to create a Snoezelen room. This Sensory Room is a blend
of sights, sounds, textures, aromas and motions that have
been found to be of great benefit to people suffering from
Alzheimers and Dimentia. This will be the first of its kind on
the River. Its creation deserves our support.
Enough said about the cause, now something about the
event. This evening you will have the opportunity to awaken
the senses and educate the palette, by sampling over 60
different beers and wines, served by experts in their fields.
Take the time to ask questions and use this program to take
notes about your favorites.
Don’t forget about the silent auction. Many local businesses
and individuals have donated a variety of interesting items
and we look forward to your bids.
And remember don’t drink & drive. The Rotary Club of
Chatham has hired two buses to take you anywhere within
city limits at no charge starting at 9:00 pm.
Finally don’t forget to say a thank you to the Wine & Beer
Representatives for giving up all or part of their weekend to
be with us. Let them know you appreciate it.
