Our HU GLA summer and winter courses are especially
­suited for international participants who are not enrolled at
the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. They will give you the
chance to greatly improve your German while experiencing
the cultural diversity of Berlin.

Our summer modules cover German language levels A1.2 – C2 and can be
united to form an intense 8-week program.
Our Culture ( A2 – C2 ) courses combine high-quality German classes in
the mornings with an academic cultural program two to three times a week.
Whether during seminars, workshops or excursions – your learning will be
embedded in Berlin’s vibrant city life.
In our Summer Module II you can choose, besides the Culture courses,
from the following themes: Art, Film and Area studies ( B1– C2) with a focus
on Berlin.
Our German-Intensive courses ( A1.2 ) will allow you to quickly expand
your vocabulary and grammatical skills. These courses encompass a greater
number of German contact hours in the mornings and afternoons.

Our winter modules cover German language levels A1.2 – C2.
They can be attended separately or they can be combined into a
6-week program.
Our Culture ( A2 – C2 ) courses consist of intense German classes
in the mornings and a complementary afternoon program two to
three times a week. During these afternoon sessions you will be able
to apply your German knowledge contextually while learning about
German culture and history.
Our German-Intensive courses ( A1.2 – C2 ) focus on language
acquisition only. They include a higher number of contact hours
in order to enable you to make swift progress.
