The DESSERT RECEPTION FOR WOMEN & GIRLS was an
enjoyable evening that included savoury soup, delicious
desserts, terrific trivia, and a captivating choir. We would
like to express a sincere thank you to: Mr. Neil Mikhailov for
all his untiring support; to the Mothers’ Association for the
beautiful décor and creative ideas; to Mr. Shmuel Stern for
all his help with the trivia; and to the entire senior class for
all their hard work. Test yourself on pages 8-9.
Though there is snow on the ground, the Senior class is
already planning their graduation trip. They continue to sell pizza
and KOSHER CITY Challahs, Challah Buns, and Sponge Cakes
every Friday. Please see the order form on page 10 for pricing
and sale dates. Challahs and cakes will be delivered directly to
Tiferes and distributed before the girls go home each Friday.
Please include payment and order form with all orders.
Our YEARBOOK editors are approaching their deadline and
they need your help. Please submit all ad orders and SEND IN
TEXT FOR PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED ADS as soon as possible to
[email protected].
This month, the senior class was interviewed by
representatives from Ateres, Darchei Binah, Michlalah,
Midreshes Shmuel, Midreshet Tehillah, P’ninim, and Tomer
Devorah.

At the GRADE 9 MELAVE MALKA, once again held at
the home of Mr. & Mrs. Meckler, the girls played
“Candyland”-themed games, enjoyed lasagna and salad,
and heard ‫ דברי תורה‬from Rabbi Feigenbaum and
Levana Ouanounou. Thank you to the organizers, Julia
Abramov and Dassi Tessler.
The GRADE 10 MELAVE MALKA was held at the Feigenbaum
home. A game of Pictionary, delicious pizza, fries and salads, and
‫ דברי תורה‬from Rabbi Feigenbaum, Sarah Frisch-Israel, and Ruth
Muyal made for a colourful evening. Thank you to the organizers,
Reena Cohen and Atara Shields.
The GRADE 11 MELAVE MALKA heads, Miyriam
Encaoua and Rivka Perl, planned an Asian-themed
gathering, complete with Chinese food and the
signature game. The girls heard ‫ דברי תורה‬from
Rabbi Feigenbaum, Shula Diena, and Chaya
Benmergui. Thank you to Dr. & Mrs. Salmon for
hosting this enjoyable evening.
The GRADE 12 MELAVE MALKA, at the home of Mr. & Mrs.
Kleinman, was a sleepover-themed event that had the girls
dressed for bed-time and decorating pillow cases.
A
delicious lasagna dinner and ‫ דברי תורה‬from Rabbi
Feigenbaum and Chana Aquino made the night a great
success. Thank you to our organizers, Sarah Kalkstein and
Rena Shimansky.
