A Brief History
1853
1989 – 95
Ansaldo founded in Genova, Italy. Ansaldo evolves into three
business areas; Transportation, Energy and Industry. Ansaldo is
a partially state-owned company.
A period of overseas expansions that includes that acquisition of Hill Graham
Controls (UK), Ross Hill Controls (US) & Loire Automation, which are
assigned to the Industrial branch of the company.
2000
Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali (ASI), the Industrial branch of Ansaldo, is privatised
and begins collaboration with Robicon (USA) under the name ASIRobicon.
Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali changes its name to ASIRobicon SpA.
2005
ASI ends collaboration with Robicon and is
wholly aquired by Patriarch LLC
May 2006
ASIRobicon SpA changes its name back to
Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali SpA
