The
Stübben
tree
is
a
unique
combination of very specific materials.
They start with the outer part of the
frame, which is made of a composite
material that is both extremely strong
and durable, yet remains flexible. Unlike
wood (which many other manufacturers
use for their trees), which is affected by moisture and may start to warp over
time, the composite material is impervious to water, humidity or temperature
changes, and does not lose any of its properties over time.
The second component is the unbreakable, never-rust brass stirrup bars,
which are always recessed into the tree. These recessed bars ensure that the
stirrup leather buckles do not interfere with the rider’s contact with the horse.
The truly unique part of the Stübben Spring Tree is its “spring”. The tree gets
its “spring” from tensioning materials that counterbalance each other. The
steel bars along the bottom of the tree, which would lay flat without tensioning,
are prevented from doing so by the webbing at the top of the tree. Inversely,
the webbing cannot flex too much because of the resistance of the steel bars
below. These two components, working flawlessly together, create the perfect
shock absorbing system.
When the rider sits on a Stübben Spring Tree, the spring of the tree is
immediately activated. The webbing flexes to diminish the impact of the rider’s
weight, while the steel bars prevent the webbing from simply caving in. Thus,
an ideal interface is created between the vertical motion of the rider and the
horizontal motion of the horse. When absorption occurs, the tree disperses
the weight throughout the saddle, from front to back. This keeps the rider in
better synchronization with the motion of the horse, which improves both
comfort and performance.
To sum up, a saddle is only as good as the tree upon which it is built. The
Stübben Spring Tree guarantees the perfect balance of strength and flexibility

Genesis Dressage
Popular dressage model features an extra
deep seat, unique detailing to the back of
the seat, and hinged knee rolls that lay flat
against the horse’s side when the saddle is
girthed. Also available in a Deluxe model
and Biomex seat
Maestoso Dressage
The Maestoso combines four important
features: looks, depth, comfort and close
contact. This model is not a traditional
Stübben dressage saddle. It is built on an
ultra-deep seat and has a thin long knee roll.
While the tree is still flexible and absorbs
part of the rider’s weight, it allows the rider
to sit very deep and provides a more secure
seat. Also available in a Deluxe model and
Biomex seat.
Excalibur Dressage
Engineered to be technically superior and
with a spring tree fitted to a “monoflap” flap
design, this large block, deluxe leather
saddle is performance oriented. Comfort is
realized through the padded flap and jockey
skirt. And with the billets attached at the
bottom of the flap, nothing more than what is
needed is used to connect you to your
horse.
Portos Dressage
With our legendary spring tree as a base to
start from, the Portos Dressages saddle is a
snug fit panel dressage saddle and is
finished off with contrasting stitching. It also
has a molded-into-the-flap, dual density
block for added comfort and control.
Juventus Dressage
The Juventus D is designed for the young
dressage rider. It comes with a deep seat
and a large knee roll to provide a high level
of support. Available in a 17” seat. This
model is featured in Black with Havana trim
on the front.

Edelweiss NT deluxe
The Edelweiss NT Deluxe features
extremely soft supple doubled leather that
combines both smoothness and grip on its
surface. Available in Tobacco or Black. The
Edelweiss NT Deluxe can be made with a
longer/more
forward
flap
for
the
taller/longer-legged rider.
Genesis CS
Jumping saddle with a square cut cantle,
medium deep seat, knee rolls and block.
Short panel rib. New look cantle area and a
new type of panel provide an extensive,
directly effective contact surface.
Portos S
Reliability, strength, and impulse define the

Roxane S
The Roxane S is a deep seat, square cantle
saddle that features matching panels and
large blocks in both the front and rear. It
offers great security while using softer
leather on the layered fronts to provide for a
very comfortable ride. The Roxane S can be
made with a longer/more forward flap for the
taller/longer-legged rider.
Siegfried CS
The Siegfried CS is made of cowhide and
comes with a very small block located on
the upper part of the sweat flap to
accommodate the riders who place their
legs far forward and ride short in their
leathers.
The Siegfried II is the flat seat version of
this model.
Zaria S
The Zaria hunter saddle has advantages
built right into it. With a dual density knee
roll (molded into the flap) for security and
reference, this deep, refined square cantle
saddle has snug fit panels and layers of
comfort in the flaps and jockey skirt.
Added comfort with a Biomex seat finish
off this unique blend of comfort and
performance.

An all purpose saddle with extra comfort

in the flaps and jockey skirts, this saddle is
