The YMCA has been offering quality programs to people in our communities since 1854. The YMCA is the
largest provider of non-profit licensed child care in Canada. YMCA Children's Services programs support
families and foster the healthy growth and development of children.

Our programs help children to build self-confidence,
learn healthy behaviours, and develop strong
values. Our programs are offered in St. John’s, Mount
Pearl, Torbay, Paradise and Conception Bay South.
All programs are licensed by The Department of
Education and Early Childhood Development and are
eligible for provincial subsidy.

age children a variety of stimulating play and
active learning opportunities. Parents may choose
a combination of program times and locations to
best suit the needs of each family. Programs run
September to August and are based on the YMCA
Playing To Learn Curriculum.
