Thank you for a very successful Fall Dealer Market
Hello Everyone!
We are glad to provide you with this post show PROclaimer that is entirely devoted to recapping
some of the events, activities and fun times we all had at the November 2015
“Pick-A-Deal” show at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge.
I hope that you were one of the dealers that was able to take
advantage of great show pricing and terms on products and displays.
Additionally, if you were one of the customers that won prizes, then
congratulations and if not, maybe your turn will be at the April
show in a few short months.
As you flip through the following pages, I hope you will be able
to re-live some of the excitement and enthusiasm that we all
enjoyed at the show. It was wonderful to catch up with many of
you who we don’t have the chance to see very often as well as
those that live close by.
To all of you, our terrific customers, we say thank you for your
loyalty in doing business with Wallace Hardware. You have
helped make this one of the best shows ever!
Best Regards,
Doyle M. Wallace
The best and the most.
Words cannot express how much I appreciate you taking your time to come to
our past hardware show. This show had a lot of “best” and “most” in it.
As far as sales, it was the best show in the history of Wallace Hardware. It was
attended by more dealers in the history of Wallace Hardware and Wallace
gave away more cash and prizes than ever before. Plus, a great time was had
by all!
Congratulations to the 30 dealers that won cash or prizes. You can see the
dealers’ names on these pages as well as on our website. It has been a lot of
fun visiting with the ones I’ve had the privilege of seeing since the show. Again,
congratulations!
We are already working on the spring show. The giveaways are going to be even
better! Maybe you will be the one that will win the grand prize. If you want to
know how it feels to win one, call JR or Joel. They will tell you! :)
Again, thank you and I look forward to seeing you in April.

Bits and pieces
From a vendor’s desk
The November Fall “Pick-A-Deal” Dealer Market was a huge success. Record attendance, record sales and
beautiful weather all made for a great event. The buyers showed many new vendors and product categories. Old
vendors such as Bekaert returned. New vendors such as Rinnai tankless water heaters and Adams Mfg. resin furniture
all reported great interest and sales. Thank you, attendees, for contributing to this
positive atmosphere.
The Veterans Day celebration was especially touching. James Rogers
made us feel good with his music and Stellar Visions Video Production
touched hearts. Thanks to our sponsors, United States Stove and W.R. Case
Cutlery for their support. Most of all, thank you veterans for your being there
and joining the Veterans Walk to open the show!
Now it’s time to look forward! Christmas is upon us and your stores
have been in the midst of holiday shoppers. The Case knives for PRO and
Farm Mart dealers have sold well. This year marked the completion of
the Advent knife series and additional orders were placed for the display
cases. The market being earlier allowed dealers to have additional
opportunity to make purchases for the holiday selling season.
Mark your calendar for the Spring Show, April 6-8, and the
Fall Market, October 12-14. Both will be at the LeConte Center. This
edition of the post-show PROclaimer provides pictures that form
memories of your experience. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas and Happy
New Year from all of us to all of you!

Wallace Hardware Employees of the Month
NOVEMBER – GARY KNIGHT, WAREHOUSE
The “do-it-all” man! Gary has worked with Wallace Hardware
since March of 2006 and has earned the reputation as one of the most
dependable, likeable, and efficient workers in the warehouse. He is to
Wallace Hardware what a utility player is to Major League Baseball. There is not a job he will turn down. Whether he is stocking,
picking, loading or taking out the trash, he is always willing to do
whatever is necessary and is completely dependable. Gary is the face
of the Wallace Hardware shows as he meets and greets cutomers,
employees and vendors at the front door. All of his coworkers would
give Gary a “THUMBS UP” for his attitude and work ethic. He is
great to work with and always has a smile on his face. He aims to
please and gets the job done everytime!
In his spare time, Gary enjoys camping and spending time with his grandchildren. This recognition
is well-deserved and everyone at Wallace Hardware congratulates Gary Knight in being named the
November 2015 Wallace Hardware Employee of the Month!
DECEMBER – CYNTHIA WEST, PRICING COORDINATOR
Cynthia West has been with Wallace Hardware since March of
1978. She has been asked on several occasions to pull up roots and
transfer to another department that needed some additional resources,
and she has excelled in every area she has worked. She is always
willing and able to take on new challenges.
Some of the departments Cynthia has worked in over her career
include: finance, advertising, sales, credit, accounts receivable, and
information technologies where she currently works with pricing.
Cynthia demonstrates qualities that any company would be
looking for in a good employee, such as intelligence, dependability,
loyalty, dedication and an excellent work ethic. Besides all of these wonderful characteristics, Cynthia
is a great person! It is because of these qualities and her performance and production that Cynthia West
is the Wallace Hardware Employee of the Month for December.

THE BIG
Meet the winners of our
T
he fall “Pick-A-Deal” dealer market was the
biggest in Wallace Hardware history! More
vendors participated, more customers attended,
and more money and prizes were given away than ever
before! We would like to thank everyone for making this
dealer market a huge success and now want to share with
you all the big winners from this fall’s show.
Before we introduce the winners, let’s recap how
the Super 6 worked. For every $500 a dealer spent at one
of the 50 participating vendors during the dealer market,
one ticket was earned for the Super 6 drawings. The
drawings were held at the end of the show. The same
dealer could only win one of the top two prizes and they
did not have to be present to win. Since this was the “PickA-Deal” dealer market, the six winners got to “pick” their
prize from a list corresponding to the tier they won. Here
were the tiers:
TIER 1 - ALL VALUED OVER $10,000
• John Deere Gator 625iXUV
• Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
• #GC1705L Massey Ferguson 22HP Sub-Compact
Estate Tractor with Loader and Mower
