Minutes of our January 13th club meeting
CU President Beverly Taormino opened the meeting
Members Present:
Ted & Cookie Trembly, Terry Zeller, Ron & Darlene Fredosick, Harvey &
Brenda Shaw, Kathy Aussenberg, Joe & Linda Betterelli, Tim & Debbie Gasparovic, Bev Taormino,
Ken & Liz Tomasello, Dave Kinsey, Nick Reale, Leon Schischkin. No new members or guests were
present. It was nice to see Nick Reale he has been a long time member and we were all happy to see him
at the meeting!
Treasurers Report: Our treasury is fully funded. As of 1/1/16 Kathy Aussenberg has
transitioned to the position as our new treasurer. We thank Priscilla for her work over the years taking
care of the financial aspects of the club.

Mail: The only mail received was junk mail this month.
Apparel: Cookie is in the process of gathering new books for any apparel orders this coming year.

Welcome to our New Officers for 2016-We wish them the best for a very successful
2016! The names and positions can be found on the first page of this newsletter.
Club Activities Calendar All activities are in the Club Activities Calendar which is in our
CU website page, http://www.corvettesunlimitednj.com ,click on any colored block and get
detailed information for that day/activity. Cliff Shield maintains the website. Dave Kinsey keeps
the calendar updated.
2016 Club Dues Dues for 2016 are due now through January 2016. Please complete the
membership application form to help us update our records. You can pick up a form at the
meetings or Online at our website http://www.corvettesunlimitednj.com (Once you are
on our main page, scroll down and click on the link
. Then click on membership form.
Print the form, fill it out and mail it in with your check. NOTE: If you joined in October,
November or December of 2015 you will not need to pay dues for 2016.

SAT. April 9, 2016 CU MURDER MYSTERY DINNER CRUISE Corvette Style to Peddler's
Village5800 Upper York Road, New Hope PA 18938.
Spend a few hours walking the Shoppes at Peddler's Village. Then have dinner downstairs at the Cock'n
Bull Restaurant during a Murder Mystery. Dress: casual. Cost: $60 PP. Advance payment due ASAP
before the end of January! Make checks payable to: Corvettes Unlimited Corvette Club, Inc. Send to:
Dave Kinsey 54 Pristine Place, Sewell, NJ 08080 ASAP! This does sell out! Tickets are non-refundable.
We will meet to cruise to Peddler's Village at the Ramada Inn, Vineland (Landis/Route 55) at 2:00 p.m.
We will depart at 2:15 PM, then walk Peddler’s Village, then meet at the main lobby of the Cock’n Bull
Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Rain or shine. Dave Kinsey - Wagon Master 856-816-6565.
P.S. Since the Murder Mystery/Dinner will finish in the evening, you may wish to stay the night &
depart for home the next morning or continue to tour Peddler’s Village or the area. Some are interested
in staying overnight. Some will be riding home that night. If you do wish to stay the night, you may
have to search the internet for rooms in the area. Most Inns are already sold out for April 9th. You may
look for a low cost hotel in the area but do not expect much. It seems that you get what you pay for in
this area. If you want to stay at Peddler’s Village, they do have B &B’s above the Shoppes. Go to
Peddler’s Village online and check out the choices. Prices range around $235 per night (can include
breakfast). Again, this part will have to be done on your own. For reservations call: 1-877-665-0778.

Rooms available for Fri. night, Aug. 26 & Sat. night, Aug. 27 at the Courtyard Harrisburg/West by
Marriott 4921 Gettysburg Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. First come first served for reservations. Most
are staying 2 nights. Call early. Call 1-717-766-9006 to make your reservation for one or two nights.
$219 per night plus tax/fees. Breakfast not included. Amenities: WIFI, restaurant on site for breakfast
and dinner, new lobby, includes pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, fire pit, bistro bar, and lounge. Please call

SUGGESTION: You will save parking and entrance fees over the weekend at Corvettes at Carlisle if
you sign up for the “FUN FIELD” REGISTRATION on the Corvettes @ Carlisle website. Cost is $75.
This makes it very convenient for you and your co-pilot to park on the fairgrounds and enter or leave as
many times as you want over the entire weekend! If you register for the Fun Field early, it will cost you

The club is working on setting up a few more Breakfast runs/dates. Stay tuned!!
The Corvette Race in Limrock, Connecticut is July 22nd-23rd, 2016. If anyone is interested in this
event, please call Terry Zeller. Terry has more information on this event.
The National Corvette Museum raffle tickets are $200. Please contact Terry Zeller if you would like
to purchase a ticket.
John Jack of the National Corvette Caravan passed away. We thank Dave Kinsey for representing
Corvettes Unlimited Corvette Club, Inc. at John Jack’s viewing in Collingswood, NJ on Sunday
afternoon. A card was given to the family on behalf of our club. John Jack was a devoted Corvette
enthusiast. He was the President of the Original Garden State Corvette Club for a number of years, led
OGSCC in many of their car shows and was a NJ Caravan leader to Bowling Green a number of times in
the past. His passion was Corvettes. He was well known in the circle of car club members. A beautiful
flower arrangement in the shape of a Corvette emblem was given by the OGSCC in memory of John.
