Wind-Driven Rain Protection.
Our ECD-545 horizontal blade, 5" wind-driven rain
louver has a Class A rating at a core velocity of 886
fpm for 29 mph, 3 in/hr simulated AMCA Wind-Driven
Rain test. That is the best rating in the industry for any
horizontal blade louver.

XSV-845
Pressure Loss and Free Area.
Our 8" XSV-845 steel grille is designed to be FEMA 320
or 361 rated for storm shelters and safe rooms. This
model can withstand design loads of 260 PSF to 300
PSF. It features the largest free area in the industry at
58.5% and the lowest certified pressure loss of only
0.15 in. wg. at 7100 cfm.

Application
The ECD-545 offers exceptional protection against
wind-driven rain under the most severe conditions and is
ideally suited for high wind areas or applications that are
sensitive to wind-driven rain penetration. The ECD-545
incorporates horizontal blades and is available in a wide
array of anodized and painted finishes including custom
color matching.

Application
The EDD-637 dual-drainable blade louver is designed to
prevent water penetration in non-wind-driven rain
applications by collecting water in frame and blade
gutters and channeling it into downspouts and away from
airflow paths.

The XSV-845 can be mounted on the exterior of the wall
or slip into the opening and still provide required
protection. It is usually installed in front of another louver
or damper that provides additional water penetration
protection if required. The XSV-845 incorporates
horizontal inverted V steel blades and is available in a
wide array of painted finishes.
