Hazle`s Pottery

Hazle’s Pottery Barn —Tuesday 1st March
On an extremely wet, rainy, cold and very
windy morning our patients and their
families met in the cosy surroundings of
Hazle’s Pottery Barn for an exciting day of
pottery making and decorating.
There was a variety of different ceramics to
paint and of course the chance to “throw a
pot” - a very messy task which was really
enjoyed by all who took part! Each creation
came out in different shapes and sizes and of
course perfectly unique! With wheelchair
accessible pottery wheels and a chance to
decorate pottery by blowing paint through a
straw, there really was an activity for
everyone. The staff on the day were so
friendly and helpful and
the day was topped off
with delicious food
from Tiptree tearooms!
We look forward to
seeing the finished
products once they
have been fired and
glazed soon!
