Each piece of our stoneware is handmade over an 8-9 day period by our
30 artisans, all in our factory buildings in Zanesville, Ohio, which date to the 1890s.

e are Hartstone Pottery, America’s
last great art pottery. You might
know us from the mugs we used to
make for Starbucks, or our patterns
made famous by Crate & Barrel and
LL Bean. Just two years ago our
corporate America owner closed
Hartstone, threatening our way of life
and the legacies of generations of our
families. Under new ownership we’re
back…better than ever. We take pride
in bringing you quality, handcrafted
stoneware made right here in the good
ol’ US of A. Our lead free stoneware
is as functional as it is attractive. We’re
not taking our second chance lightly.
We put our best foot forward everyday
to leave our mark as an American
company giving you artful, durable,
safe products…and quality service.
Thanks for buying American, America!
