We are happy to announce the opening of the 23rd International Violin and String Mastercourse at the Keshet Eilon
Music Center, Kibbutz Eilon, Western Galilee.
Activities open to the public will begin on Monday, July 22nd, and will end on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013. All activities
and events, including personal lessons, masterclasses and outdoor concerts in our acoustic shell, are open to the public
at no cost, with a modest charge for the indoor evening concerts in our concert hall to cover expenses.
Our traditional gala concert in the Tel Aviv Opera House, showcasing the participants' work during the three-week
program, will be held this year on Wednesday evening, August 1st.
We invite you to enjoy this musical happening in an international atmosphere!

Terry Elman Mack Magnin and Dana Mack Prinz (USA), and pianist Joseph Seiger (Israel), Elman’s exclusive pianist for
15 years.

Individual lessons given by faculty members to Mastercourse students
Daily from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm in teaching rooms throughout the kibbutz
“Open Door”: Individual lessons open to the public – 11:00 am on selected days in the Concert Hall
Masterclasses led by the Keshet Eilon faculty - 5:30 pm daily in the Keshet Eilon Concert Hall
Concerts featuring performances of the finest string repertories by gifted students from all parts of the world
8:15 pm daily in the Keshet Eilon Concert Hall or in the outdoor acoustic shell
Rehearsals of chamber music ensembles consisting of faculty and students - Daily, by prior coordination with the
office
Live broadcast for Israel Radio - Concerts and interviews with faculty members (details will follow)
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Olympic archery practice for string instrumentalists led by certified coaches. Sunday-Thursday, 2:30-4:30 pm at the Kibbutz

Discounted concert ticket prices are available to members
of the Keshet Eilon organization, residents of the Matteh Asher region,
guests at tourist facilities in the region, and senior citizens.
All proceeds are devoted to funding Keshet Eilon Music Center activity.
