Harris collection. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
236. Longmore’s Gold Medal Perfection Cherry T
This is the STAR lot of the auction, one of the best po
super rare Longmore’s variation in red and green pri
fully green print Victory Manufacturing Co. As a disc
have piece, it has everything going for it, from mult
supreme rarity. We have never seen one of these sel
chance!
230. J. Mcgee & Co, Melbourne,
impressed salt glaze Whiskey Jug.
This superb piece is one of only
two known, the other being featured
in Ken Arnold’s Old Bottles book. This has large incised lettering to the
front, which is coloured light grey/blue
under the glaze. An early piece of
Melbourne’s history. The original handle
has been professionally re-attached,
but this spectacular item is not to
be missed! Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
113. Genuine Abbey Mustard, Richard Gay & Cos,
Mustard and Spice Mills, Kirkstall, near Leeds,
detailed trade mark of Abbey. This fantastic
Australian found jar is very early, possibly 1860’s. It is the larger of two sizes, both of which are

ot lids Australia has to offer. This is the
int, as opposed to the more available
cerning pot lid collector, this is a must
tiple colours, a great trade mark and

Estimate: $10,000 - $12,500.
49. Weeks & White, Canterbury Road, Toorak. Bulls head trade mark.
Any bottle from Weeks & White is a rarity, coupled with the
detailed trade mark of a bulls head, when one of these torpedo
bottles comes up for auction, it is hotly contested! Of the few that we have
seen, this is BY FAR the best condition. Most of the others have been
polished, this pristine example is shiny and unpolished, with lovely heavy
embossing, and has to be seen to be believed. This item, along with the
Ireland Rose Bud jar at the top left, are from the amazing Wayne Harris
collection, which we will be dispersing gradually over the coming years. Keep an
eye on ABCR Auctions for your chance to add some once in a lifetime items to your
collection!
Estimate: $3,500 - $4,500.
