Gemstone Tonga Batik Block of the Month
The Gemstone quilt features the new ten-piece Gemstone
Tonga batik collection. Wing and a Prayer Design’s unconventional block-of-the-month layout uses basic piecing
techniques and a variety of block sizes from 8" to 16" to create
the stunning Gemstone quilt.
The initial block-of-the-month shipment includes all ten
fabrics to make the Gemstone quilt plus an additional bolt
of the border print. This order is sufficient to make six
complete Gemstone kits. Take advantage of this advertised
collection to:
• SELL block kits to BOM participants.
• SELL Complete Quilt Kits.
• SELL “Block Insurance” Bundles (fat-eighth packs for
“oops!” insurance).
This premium, inventory-friendly program allows YOU to
collect partial block-of the-month fees from participating
customers BEFORE you have to pay for your entire blockof-the-month inventory. Order additional fabrics to complete
your quilt kits and borders after you have completed your
block-of-the-month sign-ups.
PATTERN DETAILS
The Gemstone pattern will ship complete. It is written to
allow you to customize the number of months you will run
the block-of-the-month program, up to twelve months.
Note: We recommend that your customers complete the
setting portion of the quilt throughout the year. This will
allow them to complete their quilts shortly after receiving
the final monthly blocks.
Each Gemstone pattern includes an 8" x 10" image of the
quilt, a block key, and a fabric key, all in color. The pattern
is $12.00 wholesale.

SHOP KITS
Participating shops may purchase one Queen-Size Shop
Sample Kit for $155. Limit: ONE sample kit per store in
conjunction with an initial Gemstone collection order.
The Shop Sample Kits will start shipping in mid-June,
2015 from Wing and a Prayer Design.
THE KIT INCLUDES:
• Fabric to make the queen-size quilt top, plus binding
• Quilt Pattern (with finishing for both Queen and King sizes)
• Display Poster
• Kitting and Yardage Charts
• Shop letter with marketing tips
All ten fabrics used in the Gemstone Block of the Month
will remain in the Timeless Treasures line through June 30,
2016.
