Player Development Camp Beilein Shooting Academy College
College Practice Camp
Beilein Shooting Academy
Player Development Camp
June 6, 2015
June 21-23, 2015
July 16-19, 2015
The College Practice Camp is designed to give high school
age boys the opportunity to experience a simulated college
practice. The camp is offered in two sessions. The first
session is for boys entering grades 9 and 10 in the fall of 2015,
the second session is for boys entering grades 11 and 12 in
the fall of 2015. The College Practice Camp is open to a
limited number of attendees, and while basketball experience
is highly recommended, it is not mandatory. Both sessions will
resemble a college practice environment including a segment
on NCAA Compliance rules, film analysis, practice drills, and
individual workouts. Space is limited.
The Beilein Shooting Academy will provide a unique
opportunity for boys to receive instruction in shot development
from the Michigan Basketball staff. Campers will be assigned
to teams and will play full court games including a single
elimination tournament. The primary focus is to instruct
campers how to shoot properly through the use of
demonstrations, video analysis, and proven drills to enhance
form, precision, and accuracy.
The Player Development Camp is the most attended and
highest preferred skill-building camp we offer. We highly
recommend this camp to boys seeking to learn more about the
fundamentals of basketball, as well as to prepare themselves
for a successful high school basketball career. Our camp staff,
including available Michigan players, will focus on skill development in all areas of basketball. Campers will be placed onto
teams based on age and skill level. All teams will play two or
more games each day. Daily lectures from Michigan coaches
and players will demonstrate methods for skills improvement
on and off the court.
