Silent Auction
On behalf of all of us at the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies &
Children’s Hospital Injury Prevention Center, thank you for joining us for
the 13th annual Holiday Mocktail Party and Safe Kids Benefit. The party
seems to get bigger and better every year, and this year is no exception!
Kick off the holiday season by sampling the wide array of delicious non
alcohol cocktails and enjoying the festive displays put together by our
creative mixers. We hope you pick up some ideas for your own holiday
get-togethers and always keep safety in mind whether you’re a party
host or party guest.
Silent Auction Procedures
• The Silent Auction will open for bidding at 5:30 pm.
• A bid is made by placing your name, telephone number,
and bid amount on the bid sheet located by the item.
• The organizers reserve the right to withdraw any item not bid
at the minimum level.
• Every subsequent bid must be equal to or exceed the minimum
increment amount stated on the bid sheet to be valid. Bids that
do not meet the minimum increment amount are voided.
• Items will randomly close starting at 7 pm.
• All items will close for bidding by 7:30 pm.
We can also help you kick off (or wrap up) your holiday shopping
with some amazing raffle baskets and silent auction packages. There’s
something for everyone on your gift list here tonight, so look around,
buy your raffle tickets, and get your bids in before you lose out! Tonight’s
event is the primary fundraiser for the Greater Cleveland Safe Kids
Coalition, led by the UH Rainbow Injury Prevention Center. All of the
money raised tonight will help us to bring interactive and educational
injury prevention programs to children and families throughout a
multi-county area and will allow us to continue to offer programs and
materials to all of our Safe Kids partners completely free of charge.

All of us on the UH Rainbow Injury Prevention Center team also enjoy
this annual opportunity to gather with our partners and celebrate
the accomplishments of the past year while looking forward to new
challenges and opportunities in the coming year. We’re so pleased

supporting us here tonight, and we wish you and your families a joyous
holiday season!
