About Bitter End Yacht Club
Bitter End is a “rollicking nautical village” with 85 shoreside accommodation
s, two
restaurants and an awesome array of activities. Reachable only by sea, the
Bitter
End stretches along a mile of beach and waterfront on the North Sound—
the most
protected and secluded deep water harbor in the Caribbean.
With an unprecedented Club fleet of over 100 boats, skiffs and day sailers,
over 15
weekly excursions in and around North Sound, a world-renowned Sailing
School, an
onsite dive shop, boat and fishing charters, three beaches, hiking trails,
a swimming
pool, and numerous comfortable hammocks—Bitter End can offer someth
ing for
everyone who enjoys being in, on or near the sea.
Bitter End offers sumptuous dining in the Clubhouse Steak and Seafood
Grille and
on the Almond Walk. Hundreds of burgees from all over the
world flutter in the breeze of paddle fans at The Clubhouse, Bitter
End’s landmark restaurant that features generous buffets and
table service for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as cocktail
service on the terrace all day and evening. Homemade pastries
and breads, freshly caught seafood and homemade soups have
made it a favorite rendezvous spot for years. Snacks throughout
the day selected from a menu of locally inspired rotis, grilled fish
sandwiches, as well as pizza (made in our own brick oven) and
other pub fare are available at The Pub, opposite the Quarterdeck
Club and Marina.
We welcome visiting boaters! In addition to our 25 slips, electrical
hookups, 70 moorings free from surge, provisioning, launch
service (free!), fuel and showers, Bitter End offers a full-service
marina and repair shop. All of this is steps from our restaurants,
watersports center, accommodations and shops. You are welcome
to use all of the facilities of Bitter End during your stay. And find
out about the additional benefits of being a Quarterdeck Club
Member.
