Meet our local Egyptologist before embarking on the first of your
personally guided excursions to Egypt’s antiquities. Visit the Solar
Boat Museum to view a 4,500-year-old cedarwood boat; explore
Giza, home to the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid of Cheops.

3. Ancient Memphis / Sakkara / Dahshur
Ancient Memphis was the first capital of Egypt’s “Old Kingdom”;
ruins you’ll see during your visit include the statue of Ramesses
II and the Alabaster Sphinx. Witness the development of pyramid
design at nearby Sakkara and the Royal Tombs of Dahshur;
see the Step Pyramid of Djoser and explore the Teti Pyramid.

Actually composed of three main temples and several smaller
ones, Luxor’s Temple of Karnak is the largest complex of its kind
ever built. Our expert Egyptologist leads an excursion to this vast
site and its Great Hypostyle Hall. Later, Nile Adventurer sets
off from Luxor on an exciting day spent cruising the River Nile.
Glimpse life along the ancient riverbanks as the ship makes its
