Selecting the right product for each individual patient is important to make
sure best results are achieved.
Step 1: Sizing
It is important to select the correct
size of brief or fixation pant. Choose
the appropriate size by measuring the
hip and waist measurements of your
patient and then choose the correct size
from XS to XL.
Step 2: Absorbency level
HARTMANN has created a discreet
colour coding guide to help you select
at a glance the absorbency level for
your patient. The colour indicates the
degree of incontinence – the lighter the
colour, the lighter the incontinence.
The Moli range offers many
unique features for you and your

Yellow for slight
Green for moderate
Blue for severe

Breathable materials
MoliCare® soft, MoliCare® Mobile, MoliMed® for men and
MoliFlex® incorporate breathable materials for exceptional
wearing comfort, allowing the skin to breathe and perspiration
to escape.
Active Skin Protection
The especially skin friendly material with anti-bacterial and
pH 5.5 supporting effects helps maintaining a healthy skin
condition. Products have been dermatologically tested and
many can be classed as hypoallergenic which means they bear
a very low allergy risk.
Discretion
Advancing technology enables the manufacture of thin, discreet
products with increased performance capabilities. HARTMANN
products are available in discreet outer cartons. The Moli range
also includes an odour-neutralising formulation to lock in
odours and enhance patient confidence.

Discreet protection for slight incontinence
The new MoliMed® range provides discreet and reliable protection for slight urinary
incontinence such as mild cases of stress incontinence in women, particularly during
or after pregnancy. MoliMed® is also ideal for use following vaginal surgery or as a

MoliNea® Couche
MoliNea® Couche is a simple yet highly effective rectangular
absorbent pad with an integrated waterproof backing. For ease of use,
an adhesive strip along the back of the product keeps the pad firmly
in place, which means it can be worn discreetly within the patient’s
own underwear.

• This helps to activate the inner anti-leak cuffs
and creates an anatomical ‘cupped’ shape for
fitting.
• Fit the belt snugly around the waist, and
secure into place using the Velcro fastener.
• Undo both belts completely, and fit the rear
absorbent pad snugly to
the body.

• Measure the waist and hips - use the larger size.

• Choose correct product size - if between sizes try
the smaller size first.
• Open up the brief lengthways, leaving the
non-woven side panels in folded position.
• Hold brief at each end and gently fold it lengthways once. This activates
the inner cuffs and creates an anatomical ‘cupped’ shape for fitting.

the super absorbent core is correctly positioned.
• To open and reclose the tabs, open the blue
stripe and reclose onto the textile backsheet or non-woven side panel.
You can open and close the hook and loop tabs again and again.

MoliNea® underpads not only provide comfort and peace of mind for
patients confined to bed, they also help to reduce the nurse’s workload –
and undesirable accumulations of soiled linen during busy periods.
They can be used on their own as disposable direct incontinence underpads,
or as additional bed protection when other body-worn products are used.
MoliNea® disposable underpads also provide the optimal solution for
absorbing fluid in clinical settings where there is a higher risk of infection,
such as delivery suites and surgical units.
