Annual Event to Celebrate Fall, Families and Fun

Join VHF families & friends as we celebrate Fall at Sherando Lake
in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
- Fishing for kids (those under 16 do NOT need a license); those 16 & over may assist kids but need
license if fishing alone; bring your own gear or share a pole & bait provided by event sponsors
- Hiking with CSL Behring Gettin’ in the Game athlete Tim Grams; tips on safe family hiking,
overnight hikes and what to remember when you hike and have hemophilia
- Lunch speaker Jan Kuhn (Nurse Coordinator at VCU Health Systems HTC in Richmond):
“Encouraging physical activity (and fun) for your lifetime: Changes and challenges for persons with
inherited bleeding disorders.”
- Scavenger Hunts, Face Painting, Pumpkin Decorating & other family activities
- Lunch from the fabulous Mrs. Rowe’s Catering
- Sherando Lake is about 1 hour 45 minutes west of Richmond
