Unused plastic material is recycled
Pelican is vertically integrated and extrudes RAM-XTM sheets used in the manufacture
of its boats. This processing of raw material enables it to recycle 99.5% of the unused
plastic material while ensuring optimal quality control.
Using heat from the ovens
Air ducts have been specially designed to evacuate the heat released by the ovens
during the molding process and redirect it to the warehouse to heat it
during winter.
Quality control
The quality-control system applied to boats manufactured by Pelican is inspired by
the international standards, and the quantity of rejects is among the lowest in the
industry.
Pelican has mastered the innovative manufacturing technique of Twin
Sheet Thermoforming (TST), which efficiently fuses the decks and hulls
of boats, resulting in mono-hull finish.
