PRESS RELEASE
APRIL 2015
OKKO HOTELS
4 stars, 3 new hotels
opening in 2016
OKKO HOTELS, France’s new 4-star chain, continues to grow and now announces
three new openings for 2016 in Cannes, Bayonne and Rueil-Malmaison.
The year 2014 saw OKKO HOTELS open its first three hotels in Nantes, Grenoble
and Lyon. Following on from their success among guests (an average of 9.2/10
on Booking.com for the three hotels), the chain is now ready to unveil even more
exciting plans for the future!

CANNES CROISETTE
A dynamic city known the world over, Cannes will soon witness OKKO HOTELS’
next grand opening.
Installed in the same building as the railway station, this 125-room hotel will be
perfectly located only 5 minutes by foot from the famous Croisette waterfront
avenue!
The project forms part of an ambitious scheme to regenerate the city’s railway
station, led by Gares et Connexions and aiming to introduce a new range of high
quality services to travellers.

The Club at the OKKO HOTELS Cannes Croisette, an inviting and contemporary
area designed by Patrick Norguet, will be positioned on the sixth floor and will
boast magnificent views over the city. Hotel guests will also be able to make the
most of the region’s Mediterranean climate on a large outdoor terrace on the top
floor of the building.
This project sees OKKO HOTELS teaming up for the second time with VINCI
Immobilier, the company who oversaw the development of the OKKO HOTELS
Grenoble Jardin Hoche, and who is now managing the construction of this 6-floor
building alongside DGLa Architecture.
The core construction work is already in place, and the shell of the building should
be complete by the end of April 2015. The hotel’s official opening is planned for
March 2016.

BAYONNE CENT RE
Leaving the Cote d’Azur behind, it’s off to the south-west of France where OKKO
HOTELS will open its fifth hotel in the centre of the city of Bayonne!

This hotel will form part of the Rivadour scheme, a new development of residential
properties and offices executed by the architects at Mateo Arquitectura and
overseen by developer Eiffage Immobilier. The hotel is financed by Bernard
Decoster’s family.
The 92-room hotel will be ideally positioned by the Pont Grenet bridge on the
Boulevard du Bab, near the lively banks of the River Adour and only a ten-minute
walk from the Old Town.
The hotel’s Club, a genuine living area open to guests 24/7, will be located on the
top floor of the hotel with a view over the river.
As with every OKKO HOTELS, guests will find a whole range of services included
in the price of their room. These will include a dining room offering snacks and
refreshments around the clock, cosy lounge areas to read a book and relax, a
business corner, a boutique offering local products and designer accessories, as well
as a terrace adjoining the health and well-being area on the hotel’s penultimate floor.
Structural works are scheduled for completion in May 2015, and the OKKO HOTELS
Bayonne Centre will open its doors to the public a year later, in May 2016.

PARIS RUEIL-MALMAISON

of the French capital, will boast an ideal location at the heart of a dynamic business
district accessible in 10 minutes by public transport from the centre of Paris.

The 110-room hotel, in the process of being built by BOUYGUES Construction
under the guidance of project developer FIMINCO, will form part of an ambitious
redevelopment and modernisation of the district’s RER Mobipôle train station.
The elegant dressed-stone building has been designed by the architect Loïc Richalet,
and will also house a garden centre, a student residence and two restaurants.
On the first floor of the hotel, guests will be able to enjoy a Club area boasting fully
300m² of floor space and a large outdoor terrace, all the work once more of our
designer Patrick Norguet. A fitness gym will also be available on the fifth floor.
Construction is well underway, with nearly half of the core structure already in
place. OKKO HOTELS Paris Rueil-Malmaison should be ready to start welcoming
guests in June 2016!
