to soothe your baby:

• Burp your baby frequently, especially after feeding.
Make sure he is not hungry.
• Gently massage your baby’s belly.
• Place a hot water bottle on your baby’s stomach.
• Soothe, rock your baby and offer a pacifier.
• TEETHING •
• Offer a refrigerated teething ring, preferably made
of firm rubber.
• Offer food or a pacifier to chew.
• Place a cold spoon on the gums.
• Gently rub your baby’s gums with a damp washcloth,

If your little one appears inconsolable, has frequent bouts
of intense crying, passes gas during these crying jags, or
pulls his legs up when crying, it could be colic. It usually
starts between the 3rd and 8th week after birth and ends by
the time the baby is 3 to 4 months old1.
• TEETHING •
Every baby experiences teething differently: some have
virtually no symptoms, while other babies experience
teething pain for months. The vast majority of babies
sprout their first tooth when they’re between 4 and 7
months old. For most children, however, that first tooth
will appear around six months.

• Administer 1 drinkable unit-dose at the onset of symptoms.
• If symptoms persist, repeat at 15-minute intervals, for up to
2 unit-doses.

of colic symptoms, for up to a total of 12 unit-doses per day.
• Administer 3 to 6 unit-doses per 24 hours, during
3 to 8 days.
