Islandway Etos is a luxurious beachfront villa in Guraidhoo Island, South Male Atoll. The villa features air conditioned room,
on site restaurant and free Wi-Fi access which covers the entire property. All rooms are characterized by a fusion of
contemporary and traditional Maldivian design, featuring fine-quality beds and modern bathroom facilities, flat screen TV,

Islandway Etos is 20 nautical miles South of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. It is accessible either by a 35 minute
speedboat ride or a 2 hours ferry ride.

GURAIDHOO ISLAND
Guraidhoo is the largest inhabited island in South Male’ Atoll and has just under 1,800 inhabitants. With so much space, the
quiet beaches, shady patches of jungle and tranquil lagoon offer travelers a peaceful respite from their everyday lives.
Wander around local grocery shops, cafes and souvenir shops in the main village for a flavor of the “real” Maldives. Locallymade handicrafts and artifacts make for magnificent souvenirs of your authentic island experience, as well as playing a part
in supporting the local economy and helping to keep local skills alive. Islandway Etos also participates in supporting the
local community through a range of environmental and social projects.
TRANSFER TO GURAIDHOO
Please note that your arrival and departure flight details and full names of travelling party will be required at the time of
booking or at least 3 days prior to arrival. Transfers are by local ferry or speedboat. A hotel representative will meet our
visitors at the airport and assist with transportation from the airport to the hotel via ferry or speedboat.
 If your flight lands after 13:00 hrs, you will need to take speedboat transfer or make arrangements to stay in Male’.
LOCAL FERRY TRANSFER – The ferry departs daily from Male’ at 14:30 hrs and 15:00 hrs and will return from Guraidhoo
at 07:00 hrs on the following morning. Please be informed that there are no ferry services on FRIDAYS. This ferry will take
approximately 2 hours to reach Guraidhoo Island and cost USD 2 per person, for one way trip.
CHARTERED SPEEDBOAT TRANSFER – The speedboat takes approximately 35 - 45 minutes to reach Guraidhoo Island
and cost USD 250 per one way trip. Sharing is allowed. For speedboat rentals, guest should make the request at least 3 days
in advance. Charges for the speedboat transfers shall be paid directly to the hotel.

secrets of the Maldives underwater
world. Snorkel alongside reef sharks,
turtles, parrot and lionfish. See if you
can find Nemo, the orange and white
Maldives anemone fish.
During manta season, be wowed by
the alien-like yet gentle mantas as they
glide through the water feeding on
plankton. Mantas rays can grow up to
several meters in length and a manta
encounter is something to remember
for a lifetime
Be a cast away on a private sandbank
(an isolated strip of sand surrounded
by nothing but the wide ocean) and
marvel at the turquoise panorama as
you tuck into a delicious freshly
prepared picnic basket. Then work on
your sun tan and splash around in the
sea to cool off.

The blissful atmosphere of the
uninhabited island is the perfect
romantic setting for a scrumptious
picnic prepared by the Islandway Etos
superb chef. Listen to the sounds of
nature as you sit under a shady
coconut tree then swim in a tranquil
lagoon.
Set out on a cruise to try and spot the
ever-popular dolphins. Help the crew
scour the waves for signs of the
beautiful, friendly creatures. Dolphins
are attracted to sound and to the
waves created by boats, so if you’re in
with a ‘go’, there is a good chance of
finding some.
Just before sun set, a boat heads out
to sea for a peaceful cruise in order to
find the best spot to watch the
spectacular natural display. As you
watch the sky turn red, gold, pink and
purple, sip on chilled drinks and listen
to the soft sound of the waves.

The whole Guraidhoo Kandu is a
marine protected area, and has several
dive sites. There are two main
channels: Lhosfushi Kandu and
Guraidhoo Kandu, between them
there is Medhu Faru. The reef is
complicated and offers many different
ways to dive the site.
Guraidhoo is one of the best locations
for surfing. Surf transfers by dhoni to
the spots around the island can be
arranged individually. Excursions to
other spots can be organized anytime
in small or large groups.
Our water sports includes Jet Ski and
Canoe rides. Drive and experience the
adventure while you get up close with
island’s natural beauty while observing
its quiet harmony.
This gives you an opportunity to enjoy
the spectacular sunset while dropping
a hand line near a reef or an ideal
fishing spot where grouper, snapper,
skipjack and barracuda are abound.

 Islandway offers a specially designated secluded nearby island for sunbathing on bikinis and swimwear in the beach.
Under Maldivian law, bikinis and revealing swimwear are not permitted on inhabited local islands (non-resorts). We
request that you respect the conservative local culture in other areas of the island by dressing modestly.
 Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Guraidhoo however we can arrange trips to resorts or safaris if you wish
to purchase alcohol.
 Green tax of USD 3 will be charged per person per night.
 Credit card details should be provided to secure the reservations.
 All cancellations should be done 7 days prior to the date of arrival to be exempted from the cancellation charges.
 If cancelled later, modified or in case of an EARLY DEPARTURE or a NO SHOW, the total price of the reservation will
be charged.

 Late checkout and early check in can be arranged upon request depending upon the availability of the rooms. Extra
surcharge will be applied.
 Children under 4 years stays for free when using the extra bed.
 Children older than 4 years or adults are charged USD 20 per person per night for an extra bed.
 There are no capacity for extra beds in the Deluxe Twin Room.
