 Backwoods Adventures
Presents
The Best of the Maldives!
We have travelled all over the world diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and adventuring. We
believe the Maldives will be one of the most amazing adventures we have ever offered!
We will depart the USA on April 14th, 2016 and arrive in Male’, Maldives. The Maldives,
officially the Republic of the Maldives is an island nation in the Indian Ocean-Arabian Sea area,
consisting of a double chain of twenty-six atolls.
We will start our trip by jumping on a speedboat transfer to our beautiful resort Kuda Huraa (owned
and operated by the Four Seasons Resorts). Situated in the North Male Atoll, the resort is a 25minute speedboat ride away from Male International Airport.
We will spend three nights at Kuda Huraa Resort April 15-18, 2016. (3 nights) Reflecting all the
charm and intimacy of a traditional Maldivian village, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda
Huraa is a 12-acre colorful garden island awash with bougainvillea, frangipani and bird of paradise
blossoms.
Beach Bungalows fringe the island, each with high thatched roofs, private verandahs, and
their own pool. Water Bungalows and larger one-bedroom water suites offer views across the Indian
Ocean, with steps from a private sundeck leading into the lagoon below.
The Resort is home to the only dedicated Surf School in the Maldives, offering classes from
age six and upwards and takes advantage of the Resort’s proximity to some of the best – and warmest
– surf in the world. The Resort also features The Island Spa, one of the first luxury spas to open in
the Maldives and still the only one situated on its own private island, just a minute ‘dhoni’ ride from
the Resort. The Island Spa is a wholly natural haven with innovative and exclusive treatments that
feature Tibetan singing bowls, lava shells and crystals as well as products sourced from
environmentally conscious suppliers like Ila, Sodashi and A.W Lake.
Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing underwater life as well as kayaking,
surfing, Marine Discovery Center, Spa, amazing international cuisine and absolutely beautiful
accommodations.
