DID SOMEONE SAY COSPLAY AT TOPCON?
What is a Comic and Game Convention without Cosplayer? Pretty boring is the answer to that
question yet bored is one thing you will not be at TOPCON GEEK EXPO 2015. We have brought
together the finest and most awe inspiring Professional Cosplayers in the Universe. TopCon will also
abound in amateur Cosplayers bringing their passion and art to life.
The passion of Cosplayers is something that has to be seen in person to be
truly appreciated. These artistic actors and actresses spend countless hours
perfecting the characters they portray. A casual observer may ask "Why do
they do it?" The answer is simple; For the love of it. At TOPCON GEEK EXPO
2015 there will be a lot of love shown as CosPlayers from all over the U.S.

Some people are intimidated or a little shy about trying Cosplay for the first time. They look at the
elaborate costumes of more experienced Cosplayers and feel like they cannot compete, that is not
true. The GYPSY Creator and Executive Director of TOPCON explains. "Cosplay is not about how
elaborate your costume and character is, it is about capturing the essence of the character you are
portraying. Some of the best depictions I have seen are the simplest. The hard part will be to
impress our critical, cynical and cantankerous judges." The GYPSYY says with a chuckle. "The main
thing that the beginning Cosplayer should remember is do not be intimidated, the judges were

IBOT: Iron Brothers of Topeka crew as they discuss the evolution and
involvement of advanced Cosplay roles in this informative panel that will
educate and inspire all who want to take their Cosplay to the next level. There
will be a Q&A session at end of the discussion. Also on Saturday is TheNICOLE CHILELLI WORK SHOP: The First Female Winner of the hit TV
Series “Faceoff” presents an informative, instructive and comprehensive seminar on Advanced
Special Effects Makeup. This workshop is $20.00 and is only open to Pre-Registered fans. To
