SUMMER CAMPS
Camp notes
• For your child's best experience we suggest they are fully toilet
trained. Parents will be contacted by telephone to attend to any
changing needs.
• Parents/guardians are required to sign children in and out each day.
• Parents/guardians will be asked to complete information forms
for all programs. Please ensure you allow yourself enough time to
complete these the first morning of camps.
• Due to the increasing severity of nut allergies, we request that
lunches & snacks do not include peanut butter or nuts of any kind.
• All classes begin and end promptly at the times indicated for each
program (a late pick-up procedure is used). Program times include
pre- and post-care where indicated.
• Craft and art sessions can get messy. Please dress your child in craft
friendly clothes.
• All lunch hours are supervised.
• Clearly label all of your child’s belongings.
Does your child require an Epi-pen or have special
medical needs?
For your child’s safety, please fill out the medical forms prior to the
first class and indicate their medical needs on the registration form.
Severe Allergy and Participant information forms are available online at
www.strathcona.ca/registration. Please return completed forms prior to
the first day of camps at the Recreation Administration Office located
at 2025 Oak Street in Sherwood Park.

Filling out these forms will help create a positive experience for your
child, and enable instructors and staff to provide the best services
possible. Advance notice allows instructors to plan appropriately so
we can offer inclusive and accessible programs. Your cooperation is
greatly appreciated.
Please note: If your child requires an Epi-pen, please ensure they carry
one for the duration of the camp.
• All electronic games and devices should be left at home.
WHAT YOUR CHILD NEEDS EACH DAY
