Dear Customer
Thank you for purchasing the 2-Way Cedar Shoe Stretcher.
• Cedar’s unique wicking action quickly absorbs moisture, acid and salts, thereby
reducing cracking and deterioration of shoes
Best
for suede,
leather and
other natural
materials.
BEFORE USE
• Before inserting the Shoe Stretcher in your shoe, moisten the area of the shoe that is to be stretched
with water. Moisten from the inside only.
• To target specific spots of the shoe use the various plastic plug attachments provided.
This can stretch the shoes in problem spots, like where a corn or bunion is, or where pinching occurs.
• Select the plastic plug attachment most suitable and insert it into the plug hole nearest the area of
the shoe to be stretched. If a hole is not exactly placed adjust slightly by repositioning the entire unit.
WIDTH: If entire shoe needs greater width, use stretcher without plastic plug attachments.
• When the Shoe Stretcher is in position, turn the handle clockwise until it expands firmly against the
sides of the shoe, then make 1 or 2, but not more than 4 additional turns. Too much pressure might
rupture the stitching and harm or damage the shoe.
• Leave the Shoe Stretcher in (under tension) overnight, then remove it and try shoe for fit. If additional
stretching is needed repeat the process.
LENGTH: If entire shoe needs greater length, use stretcher without plastic plug attachments.
