CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAM
WHO: Grandmont Rosedale Youth (and their
friends) AGES 13-17. WHAT:
Summer-long creative arts program with weekly workshops (ceramics, photography,
shibori, painting with CANVASxDetroit, improv, recycled/found art, writing with
InsideOut, etc.) and field trips (Heidelberg Project, The Alley Project, and Detroit
Flyhouse). WHEN: JUNE 23- AUGUST 13, every MONDAY and WEDNESDAY,
1-5 PM, Art Show on August 16 WHERE: Most workshops will be held at the
CHANEY BRANCH of the Detroit Public Library, located at 16101 Grand River
although some workshops will be held off site (transportation will be provided).
Applications are due by May 30. Selected program participants will be contacted by June 9.
