Look for classes led by a variety of “South
Jersey Hot Chefs” and other professionals
from area restaurants.
Part of the County Community Agricultural
Center located at the former Winner Farm at
Hartford and Centerton roads in Moorestown,
the Farmers’ Market offers you a great
opportunity to shop locally for produce that’s
fresh and tasty. Open every Saturday through
Nov. 7, the market not only helps our local
economy, it also supports our local farmers.
While you shop, enjoy live music, as well as
educational workshops and programs. And
this year, for just $5, you can also learn how
to prepare the produce you buy at the market
Sponsored by the Burlington County
Freeholders, the County Agricultural Center
also features a Community Garden. In addition,
a Community Supported Agriculture Farm
that enables members to purchase advance
shares of produce grown on a section of the
property is leased by Growing Homes, Inc.
The Ag Center’s primary goals are to foster
support for local farmers and to provide
residents with an outlet for fresh, healthy
and affordable food.
