bios Dr. Scott Conard
practicing medical doctor for over
26 years, Dr. Conard works at the
intersection of health system effectiveness, organizational leadership, and individual well-being. Dr. Scott Conard
is not only a passionate medical doctor, physician leader and business executive, but also a visionary focused on
developing a sustainable and affordable US healthcare system.
Founder of TienaHealth Medical Group, a proactive
medical home in 2003, he has founded, developed and sold
five companies including research, sleep labs, and medical
management organizations. During this time he was an Associate Professor at UT Health Science Center in Dallas for 21
years, wrote five books, had his own radio and television show,
gave over 1000 key note and educational programs, and was
a principle investigator in over 60 clinical trials. After selling
his medical practice he served as Chief Medical & Strategy
Officer of Medical Edge, a 510 provider, 1.3M patient health
care system. When this was sold to Texas Health Resources he
became the Chief Medical Officer for Holmes & Murphy Insurance Brokerage Firm. Presently, Dr. Conard is the Chief
Medical Officer of Compass Care Engineering for Compass
Professional Health Services, the leading national employee
advocacy, transparency and population health management
company.
At this point in his career Dr. Conard uses his unique
combination of clinical, leadership, business, research, and
communication skills to share a vision of a new health care
system where the patient comes first, all stakeholders in the
system find a sustainable path where they can deliver tremendous value, and people thrive in healthy communities that
support healthy relationships, play, nutrition, and spirituality
as they thrive and develop intuitive well-being. Dr. Conard’s
mission is to add years to the life and life to the years of those
he serves by empowering them to take control of their health.
To share this vision, he has presented recently at forums
including The Aspen Institute & Advisory Board Care Innovation Program, the Texas Business Group on Health, the
PCPCC and the Institute for Healthcare Consumerism.

Phillip Bergquist
hillip Bergquist is the Manager of
Policy and Strategic Initiatives for
the Michigan Department of Health
and Human Services (MDHHS).
Phillip’s work at MDHHS centers on
strategic efforts to align, integrate and
improve the effectiveness of the programs, services and benefits MDHHS
provides, including leadership in the Department’s Integrated
Service Delivery approach, State Innovation Model, enterprise strategy and transformative business initiatives. Prior to
serving with MDHHS, Phillip worked in healthcare finance,
operations and health communication/outreach with the
Michigan Primary Care Association for nearly nine years. He
completed his undergraduate studies at Rochester College
and his executive fellowship at the University of Kansas.
Phillip has been recognized nationally as a 2011 Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Excellence
in Children’s Health Outreach and Enrollment Honoree
and 2014 Recipient of the Geiger Gibson Emerging Leader
Award, in addition to serving for four years on the CMS Advisory Panel on Outreach and Education.

Elle Ingalls
lle Ingalls is creator of Pressure-Free:
the on-the-go stress-management
method, and a member of the Forbes
Coaches Council. She holds three degrees from the University of Michigan:
a Master of Business Administration, a
Bachelor of Musical Arts, and a Master of Music. She was the first woman
to be accepted into the orchestral conducting program at the
University of Michigan, and a member of the Women’s Varsity Crew, winning a silver medal at the Head of the Charles
Regatta
