Expensive (a) reader (a). For some time I would like to write a
story about censorship. However, things went better than I thought,
because instead of a paper on the subject, this issue features two texts,
one mine, and one of brazense Natiéle Mariane de Souza, who do not
write well enough, it is still a shooting full hand. However, Wenceslau
Braz forgive me, but this month belongs to Siqueira Campos, as we
celebrate 92 years of political emancipation. And the magazine brings
more news, tips, unpublished texts. Finally, an edition full of culture for
all tastes. Without censorship, of course, but also with a lot of
responsibility. Good reading.

The age of darkness Brazilian, by Mariane Natiéle de Souza
60s, the time that marked
the history of Brazil. Period
stained by the blood of innocents
and characterized by censorship,
abuse of power, despotism,
oppression, suffering, death ...
The era of darkness in the
country.
In April of 1964 was
introduced in our country the
worst of the past Brazilian
military dictatorship, during which the military occupying power. At that
time there were determinations of censorship everywhere, as media,
culture industry (encompassing books and magazines), film productions
and theatrical, even composing music, sometimes it was censored only by
the name chosen by the composer, reprimand existed even in television
programming. Many were exiled, tortured and killed, just "think"
differently than was imposed by dictators. Educators such as Paulo Freire
were exiled because they believe in democracy and fight hard for it.
Singers like Raul Seixas, Chico Buarque de Holanda, Caetano Veloso,
Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento and several others were arrested,
tortured and exiled for making songs considered leftist. Many politicians,
too, were expelled from Brazil and hunted by not supporting the new
laws. Magazines and newspapers published in place of censored
materials, recipes. Black bars even put in place to show readers that there
passed by the censorship. So the Brazilians have lived for 21 years, silent
and oppressed, crying and suffering acontecidas insanely deaths. Women
who have been abused, battered children, dead men and all for fighting
for democracy and a fairer country. Fortunately in 83 was created
movement for direct Already, Motion civil claims for direct presidential
elections in Brazil and it was with all its struggle and persistence
managed to end the period of 'darkness' Brazilian 'extinguishing' the
dictatorship and bringing right of voting and democracy.

The eternal fear of censorship, by Eder Ferreira
Whenever we turn on the TV in a
novel, movie or program, we see a small
square in the corner of the screen, which
can vary in color, and with a number or
an "L" inside. This is the classification
by age, required by the federal
government as a way to notify parents if
a given program may or may not be
assisted by their children, according to
the settled ages.
The fact is that, despite being a
good instrument control or not that
will be seen by children and young people, many considers this as a kind
of censorship. Or, if not, as a warning that it may return one day. As seen
in the previous article, Brazil lived for two decades under the gaze of the
censorship. With the political opening in the '80s, she was close, but still
takes a lot of people sleep.
Recently, the Senate approved a bill that would make it mandatory
for journalists academic diploma. Many have seen this as a form of
censorship because restrict the number of people with the power of voice
in the press. Still others believe that compulsory diploma will make
improve the quality of journalism.
Any debate about censorship is valid, even if we think that the
work of censorship is exactly eradicate any form of dialogue, especially
on cultural issues and on the validity of censorship itself. That's why so
many artists, agents of culture, intellectual and cultural promoters fear for
his return.
And that discussion always returns from time to time. As in 2010,
when a group of over 500 comedians made a protest at Orla Copacabana,
in Rio de Janeiro, against a possible bill that would ban comedians to
make jokes about politicians.
The bill went nowhere, and the comedy continues at full steam.
Until when? I hope forever.

The historic character of cinema, by Eder Ferreira
Recently, RPCTV did a story about the
movie Good Lord Jesus, first color feature film
made in Paraná, and all shot on Siqueira Campos.
The film tells the story of the image of Jesus the
Good Green Cane, symbol of the culture of the
city.
This story is just another immortalized by
cinema. The seventh art has been instrumental in
the preservation of human memory. If we look at
the overall number of events that mankind were turned into movies. From
Ancient Rome, with Spartacus and Gladiator, until the Second World
War, with Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan.
But one day, the future also will turn story, and thinking about it,
the cinema has dealt with trying to predict what will be the next centuries.
Killer robots, alien invasions, environmental catastrophes. Almost always
these themes. But, somehow, the pessimism of these films is nothing
more than a latent fear of mankind to collapse, a direct reflection of a past
marked by many wars and conflicts.
More than entertainment, cinema has been trying to show how
history can serve for us to find the right course. In the case of futuristic
movies, the ecological issue has been much discussed, as in the 2012
movie, just to not write a story where humanity pays for mistakes that
could be avoided.
Be preserving the past or warning about the future, the film should
do much more than entertain. It should make us reflect on our mistakes
and successes. In fact, this should be the function of all the arts.

One should applaud or not the National Anthem?
We are in September,
the month in which we
celebrate the independence
of Brazil. But, in time to
sing the National Anthem, a
lot of people get this doubt.
Applaud or not to applaud.
You know best. If you
want to clap, clap. If not so,
desencane. The truth is that
there is no standard or rule
that prohibits the applause after the song is played. All that the
law provides on the subject is written in the Law 5700 of 1 September
1971. She brings a very general recommendation, instructing that the
presentation of the country's symbols - the flag, the coat of arms and
anthem - require "respectful" of citizens. "The applause is a public
demonstration, there is a lack of education. Therefore, there is nothing
that prevents the audience to applaud the anthem," says Celso Timponi
Orlando lawyer, advisor and general coordinator of Protocol of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs . What is not good manners, the specialist
qualification, is the anthem mess - then, yes, the attitude falls into
disrespect. This story that you can not applaud the song gained
momentum in schools. Cast the first stone on the flag who never had a
boring teacher who fought with who clap after the anthem (and usually
beat us just to demonize ...).
Today, only the more traditional feel impolite applaud the anthem still only in the most formal ceremonies, such as before the presentation
of the diplomas at a graduation, for example. But in most public
gatherings such as concerts, rallies and football games, the public tends
to get carried away after the "beloved homeland, Brazil." You can clap
they're released!

Siqueira Campos: 92 years of emancipation, by Eder Ferreira
On Sept. 23, Siqueira Campos celebrates
its 92nd anniversary. But birthday is not quite
the word to use. The emancipation is correct,
because the city already existed, despite having
another name, and legally belong to Tomazina.

the then district in an independent municipality.
An important character of this process was the deputy attorney
Eurides and Cunha, who presented on March 10, 1919, at the 29th
Ordinary Session of the Congress Legislature of Paraná, a request that the
then Colony Mining was elevated to municipality status.
A project came to be created, where the new city would be called
Pennapolis. However, this project was eventually shelved. In 1920, other
actions were taken in an attempt to emancipate Mining Colony.

The secrets of good writing - Part 3
Dissertation
The dissertation reveals who we
are, what we feel, what we think. At this
point, keep up the great care with
extremism. We have total freedom to
expound our views and a dissertation
examiner few exceptions - you know
respect them. All that we expose,
however, especially in the political and
religious, must be accompanied by
fundamental arguments and evidence.
To make a good dissertation is required:
a) Knowledge of the subject (acquired through reading, observation of
facts, dialogue, etc.).
b) Reflections on the subject, trying to discover good ideas and the right
conclusions (before writing think is necessary);
c) Planning:
One. Introduction: is the proposition of the topic, the main idea, presented
to suggest the development;
2nd. Development: the development consists of matter, ie, discuss and
evaluate ideas around the subject allowing a conclusion;
3rd. Conclusion: It can be done by a synthesis of the ideas discussed in
development. It is the end result.
d) Record key ideas in a sequence (CHART)
e) Add to miss or suppress what is superfluous, unnecessary (DRAFT)
f) Development of the plan with clarity and correctness, while
maintaining fidelity to the theme.

Do not Make Sense!
He's back. After pumping on the
Internet in 2010, with a series of videos
Do not Make Sense!, Where he criticizes
the contemporary youth culture, Felipe
Neto was removed from the network,
because of their work on TV. In 2011 had
his big break in the channel Multishow,
with Does the program make sense?, besides participating in the Sports
Spectacular, Rede Globo, where he, along with Fabio Nunes, small
humorous scenes about the sports world. But recently, and with the right

The greatest Brazilian of all time
Praised by some, for his educative,
to expose to the public the great names in
the history of Brazil. Criticized by others
(including Felipe Neto), by presenting a
list where notorious personalities are
behind other without much expression.
This is the program The Greatest
Brazilian of all time, the SBT, that has
been well reviewed on the Internet. Despite good ratings, the program
eventually became a laughingstock by leaving names like Tom Jobim in
89th behind Joelma Calypso in 83 th or Machado de Assis in 41 º Xuxa
behind in 40th. In the final stage, another surprise was the defeat of
former President Lula to the idol Airton Sena. Learn more at

Women in the empty square, by A. Zhoras (Leandro Muniz)
The first book of short stories by A. Zhoras
(pseudonym of writer tomasinense Leandro Muniz).
All stories have three elements in common: a woman,
and the empty square. All elements blend to awaken
voices, sometimes dormant, sometimes indifferent,
sometimes callous. And all voices screaming,
begging answers before an extremely noisy world
and at the same time, empty and uncertain truths. To

The music and poetry of Bela-vista
Few people know, but Siqueira Campos already had samba school.
It was in the 80s, when the Roda Viva skirt the streets during Carnival,
parading all its splendor. And one of the characters this season is Noah
Ferreira dos Santos, better known as Belle-vista, largely responsible for
samba-plots that rocked the parades. Check out below some of his songs
(or poems would be?)
Ten years of Roda Viva
It is ten is ten, ten years of foundation
Celebrating Roda Viva, his beautiful tradition
tradition
It's tradition, ô ô ô, the school on the avenue
The flags waving,
The school animating our party, carnival
It is colossal, colossal is
Retirement Roda Viva, carnival
In Marechal Deodoro da Fonseca
Where have our headquarters Pindorama
Where have varied attractions
The source of my samba gladdening the hearts
In the wake of this samba, today I want to dawn
Here at Siqueira Campos, this land manly
Ten years of Roda Viva, this school youth
The Marshal, my samba, colored, white, blue, indigo
A special color, the city, my people, all this is colossal
It is colossal, is colossal, retirement Roda Viva, carnival
Letter samba composed in 1990 for the ten years of the samba school Roda Viva
