Selected because of its location 1050m high in the heart
of the Vercors National Park just 300 metres from the
pretty village of Autrans. The site is a lovely spot for a
quiet relaxing holiday. A wealth of pretty flowers at the
entrance introduces you to a well-maintained campsite.
The fantastic views over the surrounding mountains
include an old Olympic ski jump. It is an area renowned
for hiking, pot-holing and mountain biking in the
summer. You can expect a warm welcome from the
friendly new owners who took over the site in spring
2014. Autrans offers a full range of shops and activities.

Directions
Easy access on well made up roads with steady climbs and no
sharp bends. From Grenoble take the RN 531 in the direction of
Entertainment
High season: children’s club. Organised activities, such as
rock-climbing, pot-holing and canyoning. One music evening
per week.

A modern toilet block heated in low season, attractively tiled
and kept immaculately clean. Push button temperature
controlled showers with hooks shelf and rail. Individual wash
basins. Toilets with toilet paper. Disabled facilities. Baby room.
Laundry. Chemical waste point.
Villard-de-Lans via Sassenage and Lans-en-Vercors or the RD
106 in the direction of St-Nizier and Lans-en-Vercors. From
Lyon. Exit A48 at Pont-de-Veurey in the direction of
Villard-de-Lans via Sassenage. The site is well signed as you
enter Autrans.

No shop as so close to town. Attractive, spacious bar/snack
and take-away in July/August. Several restaurants and hotels
within walking distance. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted.
Internet. Wi-Fi in bar and on terrace. Rent a car on the
campsite for 5€/day + 0,19€/km.
Autrans. A bus goes from town to Villard-de-Lans 16km and
Grenoble. Meaudre. Route de Vercors. Pont-en-Royans. Grottes
de Chorande, Col du Rousset.
