SAS Makes Travel Easier

SAS boosts fleet with 12 new Airbus aircraft:
SAS and Airbus have signed an order for 12 new aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 Enhanced - and 8 Airbus A350-900 XWD, looking to
delivery in 2015 and 2018 respectively. During 2015 existing aircraft will receive upgrades throughout the cabin including fully flat
seats in SAS Business. Potential cruise passengers can also enjoy: top-of –the-line comfort and service; the latest in in-flight
entertainment; and quieter planes with lower fuel consumption

Copenhagen’s 5-stars Hotel D’Angleterre is reborn
Copenhagen’s inconic and very grand hotel D’Angleterre reopened on May 1, 2013 after a two-year
process – by owners the Remmen Foundation – that saw the closure, renovation, refurbishment
and beautification of every inch of this Copenhagen landmark. The unveiling of the new
D’Angleterre is the rebirth of not only the finest hotel in Scandinavia, but also the renaissance of
one of the finest luxury hotels in the world.
The renovation involved literally taking the building apart down to its skeleton and recreating an
entirely new – yet historic – “grand hotel” with its legendary sparkling white façade. Most
importantly, perhaps, the hotel’s original 123 guest rooms have been reconfigured as just 30
rooms and 60 suites – including the 3,000 sq. ft. Royal Suite and Karen Blixen Suite. Each is a
capacious mélange of luxurious textiles, inch-deep soft carpets, silk wall coverings, marble and
stone bathrooms, and discreet and easy-to-operate lighting. The D’Angleterre offers the latest

The D’Angleterre is defined by its centrality to Copenhagen – physically and socially – and by its unusual longevity. It originated as
a restaurant opened in 1755 by Jean Marchal, a French barber who married Marie Coppy, daughter of the chef of King Frederick V.
After a fire, it moved to the hotel’s current location in 1795. In 1875 the building took on its current form and was rebuilt just before
World War I.

Tivoli and the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group to build major new hotel
One million guests have either stayed at, or visited the Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center since it opened in 2010. On the basis of this
success, the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group and Tivoli are now ready to continue their strategic partnership and build a new, themed
business hotel with 288 rooms, which will form an integral part of the existing Tivoli Hotel. The cost of the hotel, designed by
internationally-renowned Danish architect Kim Utzon, will be in the region of hundreds of millions of kroner. Wonderful Copenhagen
welcomes the initiative.
When the new 12-storey hotel is completed in 2016, it will
be a hotel characterised by Tivoli’s spirit and design history.
The hotel will offer 25 new meeting and conference rooms,
and 288 guest rooms, which, like the existing Tivoli Hotel,
will meet the needs of business guests, as well as the needs
of the family segment. The total hotel capacity of Tivoli Hotel
will thereby be 700 rooms, plus meeting facilities that can
accommodate 6,000 guests.
