As you all know, one of the most difficult decisions to make in life is which career path to
take. The current state of the economic and financial climate does not contribute to making
these decisions any easier. Well together we may be able to help each other. As a committee we are looking to organise a careers networking event whereby students, graduates
and jobseekers can come along and talk to professionals in various industries to get a feel
for a particular job role or career path. We also feel there is a real need to offer work experience , internship/ work placements and would great if we could get help from businesses
in our community where a student could benefit! I can see real benefits where samaj members with businesses could inspire our young ones at first hand, stretch their horizons, instill
confidence etc. Even those without businesses could assist in influencing their employers
for a two week work experience at 16.
So whether you’re an employer, employee, student or jobseeker, please fill out a form
(available throughout navratri or email Minesh for an electronic copy) and help us to help

AL3 8LR or hand it to any committee member at the Navratri.

FUSION 2011
Its back!! All you single guys and girls looking for friends or ‘’THE ONE’’, Make sure you don’t
miss out on this years fusion event, organised by the LPS UK. For general information and
tickets, please refer to enclosed flyer.
CHARITY DINNER AND DANCE HOSTED BY COVENTRY, RUGBY AND NUNEATON
Date: 22nd October 2011. All monies raised from this event will be split between two local
charities – Warwickshire/Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and University Hospital Coventry/Warwick (for a baby care facility).
The ticket price includes live entertainment, a 3 course meal and wine and soft drinks. Guests
can also bring their own beers and spirits should they desire to do so. Tickets at £35.00.

This year we are working with another Samaj to participate in the Navratri function. The Mataya Samaj are jointly organsing Navratri at Bishop Douglas and as a result we
will split the cost involved in the event.
