Sarah Luce (FOIA BOD PRESIDENT) is the General Manager of Tractor Supply Company in Eden, NC. Through her position with Tractor Supply, she has been able to support the missions and values of both 4-‐H & FFA organizations. She brings both agricultural and retail experience to the Board of Directors. Although she is not originally from this area, she loves the sense of community, the friendships and the southern hospitality of this area. She has an interest in helping others and coaches Fitness Training for Youth and YMCA Soccer. She loves spending time with her son, Dominic and shares her home with 4 dogs and a cat. Brian L. Hairston (FOIA BOD VICE PRESIDENT), is a 4-‐H Agent for Henry County and Martinsville. He has worked for Virginia Cooperative Extension (Virginia Tech & State Universities) for a total of 14 years operating youth development. He brings a wealth of experience to the table as he has served on many National, College and local level boards. He’s a team player and loves partnering with civic organizations as he has a genuine interesting in seeing youth achieve their set goals. At leisure, he loves spending time with is family and traveling around the world. Chase Inman (FOIA BOD SECRETARY) is an Account Representative for DMI Data Management Inc. where she serves hundreds of nonprofits in their fundraising and marketing efforts. She also works part time for the Dan River Basin Association where she is working to build a dog trail and park for the community of Martinsville and Henry County. She is a native of North Carolina, but made the move to Virginia after graduating college in 2007. She is a graduate of the University of NC at Greensboro and has her Executive Certification in Nonprofit Leadership from Duke University. Chase brings knowledge of the nonprofit sector and fundraising experience to the board. She served as the Director of Marketing and Development for the SPCA of Martinsville and Henry County. She now works as a volunteer and consultant for the SPCA. Lee H. Clark (BOD MEMBER) is currently the Director of Planning, Zoning & Building Inspections for Henry County. He has been with the County for over 21 years since graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992 with a degree in Urban Studies and Planning, and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He is also a 2012 graduate of the LEAD Virginia program. He has served as a Planner, Zoning Administrator, Deputy Director and now Director. He has deep roots in this community as his grandparents and father were born and raised in this community. Lee currently resides in Ridgeway, VA with his wife, Kim and their three children. Thomas Davis (BOD MEMBER) is NMLS#430885 BB&T Vice President Market Leader, where he serves Small Business and Retail clients in the Ridgeway and Martinsville areas. He is a lifelong resident of Martinsville and Henry County where he resides with his wife, Audrey and his two children. Graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in business and completed the CBA Graduate School of Bank Management at UVA. Currently he volunteers on the boards of the Ridgeway District Rescue Squad, Martinsville Henry County Crime Stoppers Program, West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board and the United Way’s Community Investment Committee. Richard “Rick” Steere (BOD Co-‐FOUNDER & Executive Director) has many years of accounting background and is retired from Entergy as a materials manager and also from a NY high school as a Life Skills Coach for Troubled Teens. Rick was co-‐founder and owner of Steere’s in Stereo DJ service with his wife. He is the father of a 37-‐year-‐old son that is both ID (Intellectual Deficit) and Autistic. He and his wife started and coached the Special Olympic team in Phoenix NY for 3 years prior to moving to Virginia. Rick has a number of interests besides his animals, such as studying and practicing magic, woodworking, creative cooking and traveling. Together with his wife Laura, and his son, Mike, they share life with the animals of Infinity Acres Ranch. Laura Steere (BOD Co-‐FOUNDER & Executive Director) is a Registered Nurse, with 21 years experience in the medical field. She was a NY Special Olympic Coach 2003-‐2007. Since moving to Virginia she has worked for Henry County and presently for the City of Martinsville as a Virginia School Nurse for the past 7 years. She and her husband have founded and currently still operate the Alpaca/Llama 4-‐H Club, which is the largest and longest running alpaca club in the state of Virginia. She is a member of AZA (Association of Zoos & Aquariums), SSLA (Southern States Llama Association), currently a PATH (Professional Association of therapeutic Horsemanship) member and an instructor in training. She has worked with animals most of her life and is experienced in breeding, showing and training multiple species. Her main hobby is riding horses and training llamas & alpacas.
