ARC (NI) Conference 2011
The Learning Disability Conference of the YEAR!
The ARC (NI) Annual Conference provides one of the few
opportunities in Northern Ireland for people from all sectors and
settings to come together to explore and address issues of concern
in supporting people with a learning disability and their families. This
year’s conference will be held on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th
October 2011 and we will seek to support staff in coping with the
uncertainty, which is the context for much of our day-to-day work.
The conference aims are:
1. To celebrate the ingredients for ensuring that people live better
lives in their communities.
2. To learn about effective and creative approaches to developing
the workforce of the future.
3. To explore how we deal with real risks in a way that enables
people to have real lives.
4. To showcase innovative solutions from the creative use of
technology.
Be sure of your place by returning the enclosed booking
form ASAP.
