Aiken Spring Classic
April 24, 2016
It’s hard to believe the first week of the Aiken Spring Classic has come to a
close! It was definitely “horse shows like they used to be” with the show
schedule allowing the rings to finish early and exhibitors to enjoy the
parties and feature classes.
Today featured the dedication of the Mary Ann Parmelee Memorial
Pavilion with a lovely brunch and then the exciting $25,000 Aiken Spring
Classic Grand Prix. Elsewhere on the showgrounds, we pinned weekend
champions and finished our divisions with hunter and jumper classics.
Don’t forget that we will award Circuit Championship awards next week
for top scoring entries that have shown both weeks! Visit the Carolina
Spring Circuit page at psjshows.com to view a full Circuit Champion
history.
Congratulations to Daniel Geitner who rode Lionshare Farm’s Creativo and
bested the field of 15 in the $25,000 Aiken Spring Classic Grand Prix.
