About SARP…
The San Antonio Rose Palace was built in the late 70’s in Boerne,
Texas. The venue has had a few owners since it’s origination but
none as famous as its current. In 1998 the ‘King of Country’
George Strait acquired the venue. The Rose Palace has
flourished ever since, especially a unique weekend in March when
the King himself hosts the George Strait Team Roping Classic.
This event is the Rose Palace’s marquee event, attracting over
2400 team roping and country music fans watching 600 + team
ropers and of course catching a glimpse of the legend himself!
In addition to the GSTRC, Rose Palace plays host to many
prestigious associations and their events. Just to name a few,
some organizations include USTRC, Lone Star Hunter &
Jumpers, Texas Buckskin Association, and various Dressage
organizations. Unique events past and present are rodeos,
equestrian events, circus’s, and even arena football.
The Rose Palace has over 500 spacious horse stalls, 50 + on site
RV connections, ample event parking, concession and bar
facilities, show offices, an outdoor/lit arena, and two oversized
covered arenas. Recently rebranded, The Roper Arena (Arena A)
is 120’ x 255’ and the Stetson Arena (Arena B) is 112’ x 250’
PLUS a 70’ x 155’ paddock area. Overall, the venue can hold
4500 spectators between the two covered arenas.

Who is RP3?
The San Antonio Rose Palace management was obtained by a newly founded company, RP3 Management, LLC of
Weatherford, TX. Chris Woodruff, Randy Bernard, and Ryan Zamarron, three experienced event professionals,
formed the company. Collectively, these three partners have over 5 decades of event production experience, most
often in the western lifestyle. This team took on a challenge to improve the San Antonio Rose Palace venue and
increase the amount of events it hosted.
One way RP3 Management has created more events at SARP is by producing their own! RP3 partnered with RFDTV’s The American to produce and host the first even Gold Buckle Matches featuring legends of rodeo timed events
battling for a spot to The American. Along with affiliates Twisted Sisters Productions, RP3 Management produced a
successful Cupid’s Dash barrel race on Valentine’s weekend and looks forward to the next barrel race, Red, White, &
Bling coming this Memorial Day weekend!
RP3 Management has only been on the job in San Antonio for 6 months but great things have happened in this short
amount of time. All new state of the art and energy efficient lighting was upgraded in the Roper Arena, brightening
all events at the Rose Palace! More recently, Rose Palace had the arena ground chemically tested and improved the
mixture to meet S.A.F.E. standards. Rose Palace is proud to have our S.A.F.E. ground certification for both our arenas
after these improvements.
