A message from the
head.......
What a busy week it has been! The children have
been preparing for their carnival today, look out for
the pictures on twitter!
Yesterday you should have received your child’s
report, if you have any comments or questions for
your child’s class teacher please speak to them at
the end of the school day or after school on
Wednesday 20th June.
Congratulations to Miss
Tinkler who got married this
week. She will return next
week and will be using her
married name Mrs Hardy.
Next week we will be issuing letters regarding the
arrangements for Friday afternoons from September
2016. Look out for them on ParentMail or in your
child’s school bag.

Thank you to our fabulous Friends of Great Denham
who organised the Summer Fete last weekend.
This week children in Year 2, 4 and 6 went on the
Faith Tour. They had an enjoyable and informative
day.

NEW BOOKING SYSTEM
FOR DINNERS AND CLUBS
The School Meal Menu has been sent home today.
School Meals can now be booked online on our new
system, in addition to Breakfast and After School
Clubs.
If your child receives Free School Meals or is in
Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 (receiving Universal Free
School Meals), you will still need to complete your
meal choices online.
A letter was sent home recently with instructions on
how to set up your online account.
This week we welcome Kambi
to Delphinus class. I’m sure
all the children will make him
feel very welcome.

We have now installed a computer in the Office
reception area – this has been installed to enable
parents without a computer at home to use the new
booking system to book School Meals and Breakfast
and After School Clubs.

Claire Boyce in the Office who will be able to help.

If your child is in PreSchool or Reception they
receive free milk at
school, funded by the UK Government's
Nursery Milk Scheme until their 5th birthday.
When your child turns 5, you have the option to
pay for their milk to continue.
Additionally, parents of children in Year 1-6 can
also register for their child to receive subsidised
milk at school (approx. cost is £15 per term).

Last order date for delivery before the summer
holidays – 11th July. Last delivery to school before
the summer holidays – 19th July. First delivery to
school after the summer holidays – 21st September.
Home delivery is available during the summer
holidays at a cost £3.75.
The new PE kit for KS2 will be available to order in
the next couple of weeks

supported our Summer Fete on Saturday by
donating, volunteering, preparing, helping and
coming to the event we couldn't have run the event
without you!
We hope you all enjoyed another successful fete - it
£2,755
made a record breaking
which will be
donated to the school to help fund the redesign of the
school grounds with additional play equipment.
