Jim Shipley was a creative director of
extraordinary talent.
His work won more than 100 local,
re g i o n a l a n d n a t i o n a l A D DY® Aw a rd s
and was recognized by AAF Daytona
Beach with the AAF Silver Medal in
1985.
J i m w a s a n a c t i v e c o m m u n i t y v o l u n t e e r,
especially in education – serving
on the DSC Advisory Committee for
Commercial and Advertising Arts. In
1 9 9 6 J i m d i e d s u d d e n l y.
His death rocked the local
a d v e r t i s i n g i n d u s t r y. To r e c o g n i z e J i m ’ s
professional accomplishments and his
generous attitude toward mentoring
students of graphic arts, a scholarship
