Welcome aboard
For your enjoyment on board this aircraft, SAS has provided first-class entertainment.
Using touch-screen technology, choose your own entertainment directly on your
personal video screen. Alternatively, you can use your personal handset to navigate
around the screen and make your choices.
We have provided a variety of movies, audio programs and games, as well as information
on the progress of your flight.
Before take-off, the forward-looking camera and the moving map are available
on all seatback-mounted video screens. Just reach out and touch the screen to activate it.
Once airborne, armrest-mounted screens may be used. The downward-looking camera
will now be activated and the moving map channel will continually be updated to let you
know where you are, how far it is to your destination, and to display other relevant flight
information as well as video information programs relating to your flight.
To tune in to the soundtrack for a video program being displayed on the overhead monitors,
select Flight Information and press Moving Map on your personal video screen.
Once the aircraft has reached its first cruising level, the entertainment system is
switched on. You will now have a large choice of movies, audio entertainment and
games. The movie choices include your favorites, ranging from dramas and comedies to
nature and science programs. The audio choices offer a wide selection, from children's
stories to chart-topping hits to classical music.
For the young and young-at-heart, try the Games option. Use your personal handset
and you'll be at your destination before you know it!
Video on demand.
We are improving our entertainment system even more by installing video and audio
on demand. This means you can start the movie or audio channel of your choice, take a
pause to stretch your legs and then pick up where you left off when you return to your
seat. This system will be installed in all aircraft during 2007.
If you get stuck, just touch the Help button on the Main Menu for on-screen assistance.
The entertainment system will be closed down 30 minutes before landing.

After losing his crew in a fatal crash,
legendary Rescue Swimmer Ben Randall
is sent to teach at ‘A’ School, an elite training
programme for Coast Guard Rescue
Swimmers. Wrestling with the loss of his
crew members, he throws himself into
teaching, turning the programme upside
down with his unorthodox training methods.
While there, he encounters a young, cocky
swim champ, Jake Fischer, who is driven to
be the best. During training, Randall helps
mould Jake’s character, combining his raw
talent with the heart and dedication required
of a Rescue Swimmer. Upon graduation,
Jake follows Randall to Kodiak, Alaska, where
they face the inherent dangers of the Bering
Sea. In his initial solo rescue, Jake learns
firsthand from Randall the true meaning
of heroism and sacrifice, echoing the
Swimmer’s motto… ‘So others may live’.

Wonka and Charlie Bucket, a goodhearted boy from a poor family who lives

factory. Most nights in the Bucket
home, dinner is a watered-down bowl
of cabbage soup, which young Charlie
gladly shares with his mother and father
and both pairs of grandparents. Theirs
is a tiny, tumbledown, drafty old house
but it is filled with love. Every night, the
last thing Charlie sees from his window
is the great factory, and he drifts off
to sleep dreaming about what might
be inside. For nearly fifteen years, no
one has seen a single worker going in
or coming out of the factory, or caught
a glimpse of Willy Wonka himself,
yet mysteriously, great quantities of
chocolate are still being made and
shipped to shops all over the world.
