Feed Our Friends
February is the most difficult
time for birds to survive in much
of the United States. Food is
scarce at a time when birds need
the most nourishment to
withstand freezing temperatures.
During National Wild Bird
Feeding Month, follow these
suggestions: Keep feeders full
and offer suet, which is pure fat.
Keep feeders free of snow and
Flying Cow
A cow named Elm Farm Ollie
not only flew on an airplane but
also was milked as part of the St.

parachuted to fans waiting on
the ground.
