WVU Football Scores Big Win in 2012 Orange Bowl
This year the West Virginia University
Mountaineers had Dana Holgorsen as head coach.
This was his first year as coach after their old coach
Bill Stewart’s resignation. The Mountaineers had a
winning season with a record of 10-3, losing only
to LSU, Syracuse, and Louisville.
The Mountaineers were picked to play Clemson in the Orange Bowl on January 4, 2012. Everyone thought Clemson would triumph, but the
Mountaineers surprised them all, beating the Tigers
with a record breaking score of 70-33. The Mountaineers had a good season and hopefully will have
another one next year.
