As a professional taxidermist for twenty years, I have
had the wonderful opportunity to work with many well
traveled hunters. I literally see thousands of trophies
ranging in quality and size come into our studio. Over
the years I have collected data pertaining to the quality
of these hunts, hunting camps, guides (P.H.’s) and the
quality of trophy animals. This data has meant a lot
to me as I have traveled around the world hunting
with family and friends. For the past few years this
collected information has also helped my clients fulfill
their dreams by helping place them in camps where
they could harvest their own prized hunting trophy.
With the creation of Legends Outfitting and a full time
dedicated staff that hunt between 10-20 domestic
and international destinations every year, I would be
pleased to put my knowledge, experience and a sincere

WHITETAIL
The Bear Paw’s have become very well known for the
huge mature bulls. The elk in the Bear Paw Mountains
are unique because they are very spread out throughout
the area and have become very nomadic. The bull to
cow ratio is like no other and it’s more common to see
bulls than cows.
There are still big whitetail in Montana. Many hunters
from the east usually come to Montana to hunt mule
deer but that can change at any time on one of these
hunts. The whitetail is not just a river bottom animal.
Whitetail can be hunted in the Milk River drainage,
wheat fields and all the way up to the high country of
the Bear Paw’s in the timbered ridges. A great challenge
to hunt, whitetail can be found in the same habitat as
the mule deer, so be prepared of what might pop up in
front of you.

MULE DEER
Mule deer is becoming one of the most sought after
big game animals in the country. It’s been hard to find
quality mature bucks with the over harvest and poor
management in the west. This Outfitter has changed
that by controlling areas and allowing the bucks to
become mature before they are harvested. We continue
to control doe to buck ratios and eliminate inferior
bucks. A large mature buck population has given the
animal an opportunity to breed their genetics into the
herds ensuring quality animals. You can find mule deer
anywhere in the river bottoms to the peaks of the
Bear Paw’s.

ANTELOPE
Antelope are always a challenging animal to hunt and
they make a beautiful trophy. There are great numbers
of antelope still roaming the prairie but the Bear Paw’s
is also home to the animal where you can find them
running the sharp coulees beneath the rugged peaks.

ELK HUNTING
We have three base camps to offer clients for our 7
day Elk hunts. Our summit Lake Camp and Bluff Park
Camp are both in the Bridger-Teton Wilderness and
both are around a 4 hour horseback ride. Our New
Fork camp is on the Bridger-Teton National Forest and
is about an hour horseback ride to get to. We can also
use three day spike camps to hunt out of, if needed.

MOUTAIN LION HUNTS
Mountain Lion hunting is one of our passions. The
pursuit of these big cats can last for minutes, hours or
days, depending on what kind of track the hounds have
to work with. Snow machines are used for transportation
to look for tracks and haul hounds and gear when snow
conditions get too bad for pickups to get around in.
Good, mature Tom mountain lions are our main target
for harvesting, leaving females to produce offspring.
We are consistent in taking 14-inch plus skulls on the
lions we harvest. This is a 7-day hunt that we start midNovember and run through March 31st. Licenses can be

THE premier dove hunting operation in Argentina and
the ONLY place in Argentina that I will go to hunt doves.
However, shooting is not the only activity at the Lodge.
In my trips there, we shot all that we wanted to and still
had time for gourmet meals, top shelf spirits, Cuban
cigars, Tango shows/lessons, and plenty of laughing and
socializing. The only thing in short supply are those long
rides to the hunting areas. There are NONE. The farthest
field is about ten minutes drive and many fields are
walking distance from the beautiful lodge. I can’t wait to
go back and neither can my wife.

The Experience
This Trophy Hunt in Australia has a 360,000 acre cattle property in the Northern Territory, approximately two and a half
hours east of Katherine. This property has a large number of water buffalo roaming the land, and in the past, several of
the top ten SCI scoring water buffalo have been taken from this property. We also offer an outback camp experience as
an alternative. Our hunting season runs from the beginning of June to the end of August in our dry season.
Bow Hunting in Australia
If you decide to use a bow on buffalo in Australia you need to be a very experienced bow hunter. You must be comfortable
pulling at least 60lb using heavy arrow shafts with a two bladed broad head to get the best possible penetration. Shots
range between 15 - 40 yards depending on the situation of the stalk as spotting and stalking is our main method of
hunting water buffalo.

The Experience
Burkina Faso is a small landlocked country in West Africa. Formerly an old French colony
called Haute Volta and later on the Republic of Upper Volta, the country was renamed
“Burkina Faso” in 1984. Apart from Native languages, French is the most widely spoken
language in Burkina. It is a politically stable country and hunters are welcomed by its
friendly people. Ouagadougou the capital is a bustling city and is far safer than many
countries in Africa.
The concession shares a long border with a National State Park and there is a lot of game
movement between the park and the hunting zone. Unlike other areas in Burkina, where
one can drive an hour or more to access the hunting area, hunting starts within minutes
from our camp. The hunting area has a very good network of roads and a lot of game can
