Be Creative @ Your Library! Express Yourself! Do it Yourself!
Summer Reading Clubs & Programs at every library branch.
Children, teens, adults, and even babies, can spend the summer reading (and being read to!) for pleasure and prizes. You can read
books, magazines, graphic novels or even listen to audio books.
For kids and teens, the number of hours reading will count toward the goal. Adults will receive a Be Creative card with 35 squares that
can be stamped for each County Library branch visited, each book read or listened to, and/or every event attended.
Ask at your nearest branch for all the guidelines. And also ask about our Read for a Reason partnership with the Department of Animal
Services, SNAP (Spay Neuter Animal Project) and Hills Science Diet. Check out the Group Summer Reading Club for those children in
group settings who can’t get to a library.
And we’ll see you at our fun and free events, all listed below!
