GROWING OUT SERVICE
When you buy an unbroken youngster you are
getting first bite of the cherry. These are not horses
that have been assessed by the professionals and
passed over. These youngsters have the potential
to change Australian Olympic history.
The first step with an unbroken youngster is to
grow him/her out with exposure to good fencing,
appropriate companionship and a diet that includes
the right minerals for bones and joints to develop,
plus a program of regular worming.
Auction of the Stars will take care of all of this. You
do not have to have a moment’s worry. It’s a great
way to buy a youngster, and a great way to get the
beginnings of a dream, managed by professionals.

OF THE
CHANGING TIMES
In this economic climate right now in Australia, selling anything is tough
going. So attending auctions, especially horse auctions, is a great way for
buyers to take advantage of the tough economy. Funnily enough, Auction
of the Stars is a more popular vehicle for selling horses today than ever
before. This is primarily due to the fact that traditional methods of sale
like magazines, newspaper ads and websites are already oversubscribed
and perhaps do not have the flexibility in reducing a sale price to meet
the market, which the auction situation certainly does.
The auction situation clearly does pressure the vendors to meet the
market. The vendors have spent considerable monies advertising and
preparing their horses for this “one-off” event and do face the scenario
of going home even poorer and not having sold their horse unless they
are prepared to meet the market. From a buyer’s point of view, there
are some 26 riding horses in one location.
These horses represent campaigned schoolmasters at FEI dressage level,
state-of-the-art young competition horses already winning on their way
to the top, and also youngsters just broken-in, at the very beginning
of their journey. From a buyer’s perspective, they are able to ride and
compare numerous specially selected horses against one another within
a very short period of time. This ability to compare one horse against
the other is a wonderful opportunity and allows buyers to be much
more accurate than usual in assessing the real worth of each horse
especially with a view to competition.
These above factors contribute to the Auction of the Stars being more
popular than ever from a buyer’s point of view and at the risk of
repeating ourselves, the four advantageous buyers’ points are packaged
below:
A.
B.
C.
D.
Vendors being subjected to huge pressure to meet the current market in terms of pricing
Buyers being able to inspect and trial a number of high quality horses in one location
The phenomena of being able to immediately compare one horse against another
The controlled trialling and direction that is part of the Auction of the Stars does make for a much safer and informative assessment of potential purchases.
As a result of these factors, Auction of the Stars has experienced huge
success in terms of horses being sold in the riding section.
However, the Auction of the Stars once did revolve around service fees
and yearlings. Really, the auction started as a vehicle for serious stateof-the-art breeders to distribute young stock to discerning
buyers. Today this aspect of Auction of the Stars
is not as robust as it once was in terms
of successful sales.
8.
There are lots of breeders in Australia who have produced really good
weanlings and who have become very clever with marketing especially
with the advent of websites and social media. Auction of the Stars once
monopolised this section of the market, but not today. Nevertheless,
we believe that this sector will experience a resurgence in the near
future. Without question, the quality of horses available to riders today
is amazing and these horses definitely did not exist 10 years ago. The
quality of horse flesh is incomparable and as a result the Australian
riders are progressing rapidly in their studies of being top riders. The
point is that this phenomena will only gain in momentum. Every
genetic in the top group of horses at the London Olympics, whether it
be dressage, whether it be eventing or whether it be show-jumping,
can be found in the Australian breeding programs. It is a self-fulfilling
prophecy that outstanding gold medal horses will be found in the
near future amongst the Australian horse population. To date, these
individual megastar horses have appeared from breeding programs in
the Northern Hemisphere and so the Australians have been inclined to
adopt a policy of purchasing European horses when searching for that
special special partner.
It is worth remembering that you can be standing on top of a gold
mine and die poor unless you are brave enough to go digging. With
the genetics represented by imported stallions and the prolific use of
frozen semen, of course the first wave of Australian-born superstars is
already in existence. We believe this will be clearly illustrated in the
near future. Right now, however, Auction of the Stars is presenting a
bunch of beautifully bred weanlings and yearlings that do represent
great value for money and an even greater likelihood than ever before
of an international superstar.
Even further back in the food chain are the broodmares, and this year
we have a record offering of six broodmares. These broodmares do
represent a wonderful cross section of top performing bloodlines and
are in foal to really great stallions. Some of these mares are young
and often enough buyers will take these mares home, have a foal, and
then break in the mares’ and enjoy a state-of-the-art competition horse.
There are a couple of famous examples where broodmares went on to
become successful competitors, for example, Kenare Snowshoes went to
the USA as an international showjumper, Mintie Magic has to gone on to
be a serious dressage competitor.
Because of the economy, we do in actual fact offer vendor finance or
payment plans. This does make a big difference to some buyers. Of
course not all vendors are in a position to offer this option so you do
need to make inquiries, however, please know we will do the best we
can.
Yours sincerely,
Heath Ryan and
Ann-Maree Lourey

Ridden Horse
Trialling
OF THE
This is one of the outstanding opportunities offered through the AOS selling
program. We would encourage all riders who are slightly interested in the ridden
horses to pluck up the courage to trial these horses in the official trialling times.
Of course you are very welcome to trial these horses by prior arrangement in
the weeks preceding the auction. Most people do suffer from the thought of
riding in front of a crowd on the official trialling day. Our take on this is that
if you are too embarrassed to look out for your own interests, then certainly
nobody else will. Also, if you have dreams and ambitions, secret or otherwise,
and being embarrassed is the biggest obstacle you have to overcome, then
really life is not too bad. Realistically you will have to overcome much bigger
obstacles than just being self-conscious or embarrassed. Get out there, trial
these horses and take advantage of a great opportunity.
At the auction you do have the unique advantage of comparing one horse
against the other. This comparison opportunity is exactly what happens in
competition, one horse immediately compared against another, a phenomena
which is very difficult to replicate when buying a horse privately. Riding is a
passion discipline and in most instances when buying privately a prospective
purchaser falls in love with a horse and buys it. In the auction situation, a
prospective purchaser is much more likely to weigh up the pros and cons of
each horse on a comparative basis. Of course, falling in love with the horse is a
critical ingredient for success but we at the AOS would encourage you firstly to
select your next horse on an intellectual level, then follow your heart and fall in
love with the horse. We all know of people that have bought horses that didn’t
turn out to be everything they had hoped for but nevertheless, love the horse
and persevere even when it is clear they should sell and start again. Treat the
auction trialling as a day at the office.
We encourage everyone to trial each horse that goes close to falling into their
wish list category. Keep in mind that sometimes a horse that reads and looks
mediocre in the catalogue actually turns out to be lots better in real life than
you had expected. Conversely, some horses will catch your imagination in the
catalogue, and then be disappointing in real life. Once you ride more than two
horses you will lose track of details on each horse so we encourage you to write
notes on each horse immediately after trialling them. Also, watching a horse
being trialled by other riders is a great way of assessing honesty and rideability.
The first official trialling is at 11.30am on Saturday December 15 and we would
encourage all interested parties to take advantage of this Saturday trialling.
This does give you as the potential buyer the opportunity to have another ride
the next day Sunday December 16 at 8am. This also gives you enough time to
research the horses and talk to the owners.
The basic format of trialling is that two or three horses come into the arena
and are shown off for the first five minutes by their vendors, basically warming
up and just gently running through the horse’s routine. Then people wishing to
have a little sit are invited to come forward. Prospective buyers organise to trial
a horse by approaching the AOS representative, who takes a list of names so
as to keep the trialling ordered, and also signing the appropriate waivers. Each
trialling is tailored to each rider’s individual needs, keeping in mind that the first
and foremost priority is safety, and of course the well-being of the horse. It is
a very hectic schedule with two sessions of public trialling plus the auction, all
in two days, so horse welfare is a major consideration. We are of course very
aware of also servicing the riders’ needs.
Good luck, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact
Sharon Carroll on 0412 826725 or email [email protected].

Palomino stallion 17.2hh 2004
Byalee Briar is an amazing opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after European
pedigree without the frozen hassle! Bjorsells Briar 899 was for 7 years a legend,
the world’s number one dressage breeding stallion! On the dam line, Byalee
Briar is out of a Bernstein mare, Bernstein being another Swedish warmblood
stallion and sire of many approved stallions, with offspring in Grand Prix in
Europe and the US. Bernstein was stallion of the year in Sweden and now has
offspring with amazing piaffe and passage. Both Bjorsells Briar and Bernstein
are elite-listed performance stallions and together these bloodlines have now
produced Byalee Briar, who is just beginning to develop what will be an amazing
competition trot. He has inherited Briar’s incredible uphill canter with strong
shoulder and knee action, and shows that ever-essential correct walk. Byalee
Briar is already winning annual championships at novice level at more than 73%,
scoring more than 65% at elementary level. So quiet he can be campaigned by
a teenage pony clubber, and his babies are friendly with great conformation and
amazing movement. He jumps, practises polocrosse, and rides out like a gelding
babysitting the young horses. His youngsters are a joy to ride. And as a bonus,
Byalee Briar is a palomino, with the colour dating back eight generations of
Swedish warmbloods. Now AWHA, ISSA and palomino registered. Live cover only.

Fiji R is an exciting young imported stallion campaigned and trained by young

scores over 75%. These scores have been posted at major competitions including
Sydney competitions. Fiji R has now started competing at Prix St Georges and

be found at Young Rider competitions with just Breanna and her Mum as rider
and guardian. This temperament Fiji R passes on to his foals. Fiji R has quite
remarkable paces with a very distinctive walk. Trot is fully suspended with
adefinite ballerina poise between beats. Canter is beautifully balanced and uphill

Flaxen chestnut colt 01/01/10 15hh
A compact and very attractive young colt by British Olympic Grand Prix sensation,
Wie Weltmeyer, Wow simply oozes charm. His elastic and extravagant paces show
scope in his movement with an exceptional hind leg and also free, flash front leg
mechanics. Jumping should be no problem either as his father, Wie Weltmeyer,
was known to win 1.40m classes on alternate weekends to his FEI dressage
commitments up until 1997! Wie Weltmeyer is a seriously versatile stallion that
has crossed very well with the thoroughbred mare Lawsuit. This young colt will
be an enormous asset for a smaller rider wanting a horse with versatility, scope,
power and presence! One the judges and riders will love - and those after colour
will note that his flaxen mane and tail are in fact white, so only time will tell
what kinds of chrome may be achieved! Wow is that sought-after warmblood
stallion, small enough to ride comfortably but offering Grand Prix dressage and
jumping bloodlines ... fulfilling a popular niche market in Australia. On top of
all of that, Wow has a beautiful temperament and despite having mares in foal
continues to act like a friendly labrador! We are thrilled with this prospect and
look forward to a successful career with him. For more information see his sire

Bay mare 20/8/08 16hh
PPT to Regardez Moi due 15/2/13 LFG
Florence R is a 4-year-old mare carrying exquisite bloodlines. As with all the Fiji
R youngsters, Florence R has a wonderful temperament and this comes from
the stallion Florestan I. Florence R has a really great laidback walk with super
overtrack. At first when she is trotted up she is very quiet, however, with some
encouragement one realises she is unexpectedly dynamic with great hock bend
and typical Fiji R front forearms dancing across the ground. Her canter is balanced
and elegant. Florence R is out of the Salute mare Slinky R. Salute is probably the
most influential performance stallion in Australia at the moment being the sire
of Victory Salute, 9th in the world at the WEG 2010 and also the sire of Stirling
Stilton who was the highest-placed Australian combination at the WEG in 2002.
Salute is also the sire of Staccato, who was ranked the number one eventing
stallion in the world some years ago; F1 Pharenelli, who was short-listed for the
2012 Olympics; DP Christopher, who was the NSW Grand Prix dressage champion;
and Salute was the sire of the mother of Mystery Whisper, who competed at the
London 2012 Olympics. The mare Lynx, who is the mother of Slinky R, is a full
sister to Londoner, who was an absolute superstar dressage horse with Olympian
Mary Hanna. Florence R is a wonderful opportunity.

Bay mare 13/2/2000 16.1hh
Striking Lights R is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. A beautiful bright
bay mare who has the looks, temperament and trainability to take a rider of
any level to the top. Strike started her career as an eventer and won up to and
including pre-novice classes, beginning her dressage career in 2009 at the NSW
Dressage Championships where she placed 1st and 2nd in the novice class. Strike
now competes in young rider and open FEI competitions with Rebecca Notley
in the saddle, winning her very first Prix St Georges start scoring 65%. Strike is
by perhaps the most influential performance stallion in Australia today, Salute.
Salute is the sire of Victory Salute (who came 9th in the world in Grand Prix
dressage at the 2010 WEG), Stirling Stilton (highest-scoring GP dressage horse
at the WEG 2002 in Spain), DP Christopher (who was the NSW GP Dressage
Champion), Staccato (number one ranked stallion in the world for eventing a few
years ago), F1 Pharanelli (only just missed out on the Olympic eventing team for
London), Mystery Whisper (is out of a Salute mare and competed at the 2012
London Olympics) and the list goes on and on. She is also a full sister to Sydney
Lights who was a sensational eventer in Australia and then sold overseas. Strike
is training piaffe and one-time changes and will go on to do Grand Prix so now
is the time to purchase an exceptional mare who is ready to take you on a truly

Black colt 17/2/12 mat 16.1hh
Seahorse R is an exquisite individual albeit a little bit hairy in the photo. The
paces are exciting, seemingly straight out of a ballet display, being ever so
light and precise with wonderful artistic interpretations. Seahorse R has large
expressive eyes and the refined conformation that can only be described as
exquisite elegance. Seahorse R has very special genetics being by Starnberg.
Starnberg was a sensational young licensed Sir Donnerhall stallion imported
into the country by Pamela Maine. Starnberg was always destiny bound to be
Pamela’s international dressage horse. Initially Starnberg trained at Ryans and by
six years of age had mastered wonderful piaffe, passage and reliable expressive
one-time flying changes. Absolutely amazing! Unfortunately it is very difficult
for young serving stallions to concentrate 100% at competitions and so the
decision to geld him was made once the ride was taken over full-time by Pamela.
So Seahorse R is one of the very few Starnberg foals ever. On the dam side,
Delphinium R carries Donnerhall and Pik Bube bloodlines through Don Ramiro;
these are arguably some of the greatest family dynasties in Europe. Delphinium
R is also the mother of Kathryn Croft’s FEI dressage horse Snapdragon. Seahorse
R is brilliantly positioned to be a beautiful competition horse as well as a very
serious stallion proposition.

Jocelyn Brown R is featured on the front of the catalogue. Jocelyn Brown R is a
blinder and just where she will end up in the next couple of years is anybody’s
guess. However, right now you would have to think this is a serious Olympic
candidate. Jocelyn Brown R does have the most magnificent trot work as
can be seen on the front page and what’s more shows extreme talent in her
presentation of piaffe, as illustrated on this page. Quite frankly, this is probably
already better than 70% of the Olympic horses. Jocelyn Brown R does have just
the most amazing talent for piaffe and passage. Jocelyn Brown R has been out
to a number of baby dressage competitions with wins and scores regularly over
70%. The breeding of Jocelyn Brown R is fascinating. The sire, Jive Magic, is a
Grand Prix competition horse with wins including the Grand Prix at the biggest
show in Australia, the Sydney CDI. The dam of Jocelyn Brown R is Ella R who is
by the Dutch stallion Jazz. Jazz himself represented Holland as an international
Grand Prix horse at the 2002 WEG in Spain. Today he is considered one of the
best dressage sires ever and was the sire of Parzival who was the individual
silver medallist at the London 2012 Olympics. Ella R is out of Northern Charisma

This is your perfect 10-minute a day horse. Ritchie is a most delightful blend of
warmblood and percheron. His looks are heavily influenced by his magnificent
big black grandsire, Kamaloi Regiment, mixed with the beauty of the warmblood.
Ritchie is about as close to bombproof as it gets, despite being just four years of
age. Nothing seems to faze him. He can be ridden regularly or not. He has three
correct paces and is extremely easy to sit trot on. Ritchie’s temperament is truly
amazing, undoubtedly havimg a lot to do with the 25% injection of percheron!
Combine this with the talent of Byalee Romance, by Grand Prix champion
Regardez Moi, and you have a great dressage horse. Add in the eventing blood
of Abduell, and on the bottom line, Satu Besar (Skipcello Aonui) and you have a
gem. At a competition, Ritchie is a champion. His first competition saw him win
on more than 67% against far more extravagantly moving warmbloods by sires
such as Sandro Hit and Jive Magic – he holds his own by being self-composed!
This allowed him to compete at the Australian National Dressage Championships

Under Heath Ryan, Magnum was campaigned pre-novice with many wins

riding many successful dressage/eventing horses from his dad, Domingo, and
our top eventing mare, we put them together to produce Celebration. He has
competed in two dressage comps as a 2yo, placed in top 10 both times, been to
many ag shows and the judges loved him. Celebration has potential as a dressage
horse/stallion at stud. Celebration was born palomino and began to grey out as a
2yo. He has 10 foals on the ground to date, 60% coloured and not turning grey. Of
his 10 foals, 80% are to non-coloured mares. All foals are put together amazingly

Black colt 22/09/08 16.3hh
Sonic has been selectively bred by a boutique breeder and at four is not yet
gelded since he wins top marks for temperament as a young stallion! Sonic has
been a joy since he was born. Backed as a 3-year-old, he has been in light work
for the past 12 months. He is fun to ride, working happily through the basics
and is ready to move on into any discipline, although everyone who sees him
says it must be dressage! The day he was conceived I helped collect the semen,
and scanned and inseminated his dam in the field down the road. This colt has
brought me great pleasure and I feel he is the best horse I have ever owned.
My aim is to breed quality horses on a small scale as a hobby breeder with a
passion for warmbloods. Anyone who sets out to breed has an image in mind of
what they want and Sonic fits that picture and makes it all worthwhile. Sad as I
am to sell him, he shows so much potential that I would not be able to do him
justice. Sonic scored well as a foal with ACE and is still maturing and growing. His
conformation speaks for itself and his outstanding, floating trot is probably his
strongest feature, although his paces are fantastic and he has shown no vices,
just great presence and a beautiful character. Wonderful promise!

presence and passes it on to her offspring. Je Suis moves like a panther with
balance and grace. Je Suis’ sire is the all-important Jive Magic, sired by Jazz. The
mix of Regardez Moi and Jive Magic is a classic cocktail for success. Je Suis is so,
so sweet and lovely that the second interpretation of her name, ‘I follow’ suits
her so well. She has the temperament to follow your lead and climb the training
scale. She represents the pinnacle of modern Australian dressage breeding,
which has now reached the world-class standard.

Kings Catwalk
ON ACCOUNT OF KINGS HORSES
LOT 39
Brown filly 12/03/10 mat 16.1hh
Kings Catwalk is a three-year-old filly by Cildara Conquest. What a horse! This
outstanding mare has super trainability and temperament. She would suit
a capable child or nervous adult rider as she is so quiet, a true sweetheart.
She has super movement with a built-in metronome . Catwalk has a walk like
a hooker - she struts her stuff, so wherever she goes people will turn their
heads. She will make a fantastic dressage mount and you will not find it hard to
train her to Grand Prix. Catwalk is a true pleasure to be around, another Cildara
Conquest production! Her half-brother, Kings Legend, is competing Grand Prix and
already on the National Squad after winning young horse of the year in Qld for
two consecutive years before winning at FEI level at the age of just seven. He
drew the attention of international icons such as Christoff Hess and many others.
Check out his relatives competing at the recent Australian National Dressage
Championships - Kings Legend, Kings International, Kings Superstar and Kings
Guardian. If you have high aspirations, get on the ‘Catwalk’!

Nova Cruz
ON ACCOUNT OF TONY CAMPBELL
LOT 40
Chestnut gelding 29/11/2002 16.1hh
Nova Cruz was the much-treasured competition horse of the late competitor and
judge, Hellen Campbell. With Hellen, this beautifully bred gelding last competed
in May last year, scoring more than 70% for first place. He has been a reliable
and extremely successful mount, placing at preliminary level at the Qld State
and NSW State Dressage Championships in 2008, scoring more than 72%. He
also competed and placed at the NSW State Dressage Championships in 2006,
giving him a wonderfully solid base for his next rider to move forward up the
grades. Cruz is by the well-known sire Carbine out of an Aachimedes/Monopol
mare – Aachimedes was the sire of no less than FIVE Grand Prix horses at the
recent Brisbane CDI, proving his ability to throw extremely trainable offspring.
Cruz is one of the those horses that would usually never be for sale, and today
does, sadly, offer an amazing chance for someone to take advantage of the hard
work already done.

Reina R
ON ACCOUNT OF RYANS
LOT 41

Black mare 2/10/2008 17hh
PPT to Starnberg due 15/1/13 LFG
Reina R is a beautiful big black mare bred in the purple. She is unbroken but as
a current 4yo Reina R certainly does have a very likely top-of-the-range career
in front of her should her new owners decide to break her in and pursue a
competition career. Like her sire, she is big black and beautiful. Her dad Regardez
Moi has on two separate occasions been the Australian Grand Prix Champion,
winning in excess of 30 Grand Prix classes and we believe he has won more
Grand Prix than any other Australian-based stallion ever. Reina R carries the
Salute blood through her dam, Shirley R. The Salute blood is probably the most
influential performance Olympic bloodline in Australia today. Salute is the sire
of Victory Salute, 9th in at the WEG 2010 ; Stirling Stilton who was the highestplaced Australian combination at the WEG in 2002; Staccato, ranked the number
one eventing stallion in the world some years ago; F1 Pharenelli, short-listed
for the 2012 Olympics; DP Christopher, NSW Grand Prix dressage champion; and
Socialite, dam of Mystery Whisper who competed at the London 2012 Olympics.
Right down on the bottom line, Labella is the mother of the Victorian Regardez
Moi dressage stallion Rendezvous. Reina R is in foal to the sensational young Sir
Donnerhall stallion Starnberg. Starnberg is now a gelding schooling at Grand Prix
level. Reina R is a unique opportunity.

Byalee Rosette
ON ACCOUNT OF HARK PERFORMANCE HORSES
LOT 42
Bay mare 19/12/07 16hh
Byalee Rosette has the most exquisite movie-star looks combined with a
star-studded pedigree. She is by the stallion Byalee Romance, who has won
championships up to advanced level with Ann-Maree Lourey and is now in
training with Grand Prix rider Sharon Carroll. On the dam line, Rosette’s mother
was an advanced level dressage horse, Wynella Fanfare, by Falkland II out of
a Contact mare that was in turn an advanced eventing horse. Rosette carries
solid performance lines with a temperament to excel, and this, crossed with the
supreme collection of the Rubinstein line, is set to create the perfect partner
for your dressage/eventing career. Rosette has been broken in for 12 months
and her three great paces are obvious even whilst she is still green. Rosette is
for sale through no fault of her own and has been with a trainer for the past
12 months due to health issues of the owner/rider, who is unable to ride or
compete. Rosette has not yet been given the opportunity that she deserves. Ride
or breed - you choose.

Rondelle R
ON ACCOUNT OF RYANS
LOT 43

Chestnut mare 01/10/2006 16.1hh
Rondelle R is a beautiful, compact, smaller mare with a beautiful neck and head.
Rondelle R has a very interesting pedigree being by Regardez Moi who has won
more Grand Prix dressage competitions than any other Australian-based stallion.
Rondelle R is out of the mare Sandy, by Salute. The Salute blood is probably the
most influential performance Olympic bloodline in Australia today, Salute being
the sire of Victory Salute, 9th in the world at the WEG 2010; Stirling Stilton, who
was the highest placed Australian combination at the WEG in 2002; Staccato, who
was ranked the number one eventing stallion in the world some years ago; F1
Pharenelli, who was short-listed for the 2012 Olympics; DP Christopher, who was
the NSW Grand Prix dressage champion; and also the mother of Mystery Whisper,
who competed at the London 2012 Olympics. Also of interest is the dam of Sandy,
TEC Mandy. Mandy was ridden and campaigned by Guy Wallace in both dressage
and eventing. Although Mandy only competed in lower-grade eventing, she
was unbeaten with Guy Wallace in the saddle. Mandy was also a very talented
dressage horse winning at elementary level. With a serious talent for piaffe, she
was sold for a very big price overseas. Rondelle R has only just been broken in
when photographed and we have no intention of forcing her progress just to
meet the auction deadline, however, it is possible that Rondelle R is a superstar.

Folly Foot Memory
ON ACCOUNT OF BYALEE STABLES
LOT 44
Chestnut mare 11/11/97 16.3hh
PPT to Byalee Briar LFG
This AWHA-registered mare is in foal to the beautiful palomino warmblood
stallion Byalee Briar and has a 50/50 chance of recreating his beautiful colour in
the foal. Folly is one of the sweetest mares to handle that Byalee has been lucky
enough to have, and to our delight, testing her out under saddle showed that
she was a reliable and straightforward ride, offering you an extra bonus! Folly
is a wonderful example of the beautiful warmbloods produced by the famous
Northern stud during the past two decades. Grandsire Northern Congress was the
stud’s foundation sire, and sire of Northern Charisma, who represented Australia,
as well as reserve Northern Greta. To be responsible for two horses in one
Australian Olympic team is no mean feat! These days there are more, like Grand
Prix horse Northern Campion. There is influence on sires such as Koyuna Magic
Supreme. Congress was renowned for producing horses with great trainability and
paces, and combined with the renowned temperament of Byalee Briar, this foal
will be super easy to partner. Folly herself is amazingly elegant and easy to ride,
more than capable of preliminary/novice dressage success.

Chestnut colt 3/11/11 mat 16.1hh
Jedi R is a wonderfully composed colt by the supremely powerful Grand Prix
dressage stallion Jive Magic. Jedi R is out of Ruby who in turn is by Regardez Moi.
Regardez Moi is recognised as one of the most successful Grand Prix stallions ever
in Australia. On two occasions Regardez Moi has been the Australian National
Grand Prix Dressage Champion and in 2009 he represented Australia at the
World Cup finals in Las Vegas, USA. Ruby’s dam, Sarbs Meredith, is an absolutely
beautiful AWHA-registered mare with an amazing temperament. Meredith is by
Richmeed Medallion (imp) a Grand Prix stallion (dec) who has stamped himself
on Australian dressage and jumping with a myriad of champions like Mauritius,
Gracefield Fabian and 4-star eventer Mystery Whisper who was sold in 2011 to
the USA and was competed at the London Olympics this year for the USA eventing
team with Philip Dutton in the saddle. Richmeed Medallion is by May Sherif,
to this day the only stallion in the world to sire two World Cup Final dressage
winners, Andiamo (Sven Rothenberger) and Matador (Kyra Kyrklund). Jedi R has
an extremely sweet, gentle and inquisitive nature. Jedi R’s temperament will
make him a wonderful competition partner for a rider seeking trainability and
temperament together with an impressive collection of performance bloodlines.
