10 Years Anniversary
Imran Salahuddin Khan
What do you like the
most at Creative
Chaos?
Director Technology & Ops
.........................................
When did you join
Creative Chaos?
December 9, 2002.
I must say that Shakir Husain (CEO) and Umair Aziz
(CTO) have got what it takes
to make a company great.
Their unique and innovative
business strategies, hard
work and vision is what has
kept this company moving
forward for years. They have
been able to set an energetic
and creative culture in this
organization from the very
beginning, one that believes
in producing results, rather
than bureaucracy.
What is the most
memorable moment
you have had here?
One of the most memorable moments I have had
at CREATIVE CHAOS is
when I was promoted to
Software Development
Manager. It was not just
the position, but the way
it was announced which
made it special. Also, it
was a real turning point in
my career.
What is your favorite
movie?
I mostly watch Drama
films. Top of the list are:
Fight Club, Network,
Schindler’s List, The
Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption,
Groundhog Day, Scent of
a Woman.
What do you like the most at
Creative Chaos?
I must say that Shakir Husain
(CEO) and Umair Aziz (CTO)
have got what it takes to make a

02
Do you have any advice
for people who are just
starting their careers at
Creative Chaos?
If they have ever written, “I
would like to work in a challenging environment,” as
a career objective in their
resume, then they are at the
right place.
kept this company moving forward for years. They have been

creative culture in this organization from the very beginning, one
that believes in producing results,
rather than bureaucracy.
Where do you see yourself 10
years from now?
I don’t believe in setting milestones
in life. You should not have long
term plans. Plans are useless.
Instead, I focus on adapting to
change and making the most out
of it. 10 years ago I never imagined
that I would be doing what I am
doing right now.
How has Creative Chaos
grown/changed since the 10
years you have spent here?
It has grown tremendously and I
hope it has a great future.
Do you have any advice for
people who are just starting
their careers at Creative
Chaos?
If they have ever written, “I would
like to work in a challenging environment,” as a career objective in
their resume, then they are at the
right place.
In one line – describe what you
do.
I try to create usable software
products.

PROMOTION
Taimur Longi
Head of Offshore Development
.........................................
What is your professional background?
I was technical director for a small company
in Dublin, Ireland. Not
a quintessential one,
because we were small,
platform dependent and
products oriented. During
my presence we successfully grew by 40%
and sold our product let.
ie the 2nd largest property portal in Ireland, to
the first largest daft.ie. I
was involved with everything, from business
development to managing distributed teams.
Why Creative Chaos?
My main criterion for selecting a place to work at
is to like the people you
are working for. Everything is up hill from there.
This is why I’ve resisted
big corporations and silos. I have zero patience
for politics and games.
04
Highlights
How long have you
been working at
Creative Chaos?
I have been working at
Creative Chaos for approximately 1.5 years. It all
started with a conversation with Umair Aziz (the
interview) in October 2011.
Do you have any messages for your
Colleagues at
Creative Chaos?
Yes - you are all smart,
talented people. Follow your
hearts and minds, block the
noise.
In one line – describe
what you do.
I’m heading all offshore
projects and products from
conception to accounting.

My experience at Creative Chaos has been
amazing. My role here is an ongoing
challenge and that keeps my job exciting. I have the freedom to set my
own goals and therefore working
towards them becomes easier
and enjoyable. Here, Ideas are
always welcome and innovation is encouraged. Along with
this, the working environment
is very flexible, with a lot of consideration for the employees’ professional and personal needs. In the
next five years I’d like to see myself at
Creative Chaos, advancing to the next level,
learning new things and taking on new
responsibilities.
06
A place where people tend to stay for long
tenures says a lot about the organization’s culture. Especially that it
values its employees and gives
them opportunities to prove
themselves and grow as individuals. One of the things
that I appreciate most about
Creative Chaos is the open
door policy of our management. The leadership team at
Creative Chaos has never been
inaccessible. They are approachable and care about their employees
- and it shows. I feel fortunate to be a part
of such a great company.
Creative Chaos was the first “proper” job
I have had and it has been good fun
from the time I joined, back in 2009.
Since then, I have seen the company grow from approximately
70 people to 130 plus people.
The most memorable moment I have had at Creative
Chaos was the night where
we launched the first episode
of Coke Studio – Season 3. We
never thought we would be able to
launch it that night even though we
spent days and days getting it ready.
When we did launch it, I couldn’t believe it
had finally happened. It was amazing. It’s very rare
to find places that you feel very comfortable in and
for me Creative Chaos is that. My experience here
has been brilliant. It is like a second home to me. In
five years I hope to find myself in a greater capacity
for client dealing and presenting the company to the
public.
I’m a Web/Mobile UX Rock star with more
than seven years of experience in
commercial projects. My skills not
only include web designing, but
also writing codes, creating
designs, blogging, tweeting, photography, making
YouTube videos and eating fast-food!There are so
many memorable moments
I have had while working at
Creative Chaos,but the most
memorable day for me is when
received the “Superstar Award” in
my first year working here, based on my
performance. The other one is the last Annual Meeting where I got two awards: Five years of Dedicated
Service and the Extraordinary Performance award.
I come to work and face new challenges everyday,
meet creative freaks like myself and learn new things.
Creative Chaos is the best place for all the creative
hungry people like me who stay foolish and like new
challenges. Boring people can work anywhere else.

Most Interesting Moment: My Marriage Where I see myself in 5 years: Running my own business Favorite Song:
Breathless by Shankar Mahadevan,
Is It Love by Nadia Ali
Most Interesting Moment: My Marriage
Where I see myself in 5 years: As the
CFO or Director Finance. Favorite
Song: “Everything I do, I do it for
you”: – Bryan Adams
Most Interesting Moment: The moment when
I became a father. Where I see myself in 5
years: If I’m still alive then hopefully as an
even more important part of the Creative Chaos family. Favourite Song:
Learning to Fly (Pink Floyd)
After completing my MCS
(Master of Computer Sciences)
from Karachi University and
obtaining the 3rd position in my
batch, I started my career as a
Software Engineer at ITIM Associates in 2000. Now that I am a part
of this organization I am very satisfied.
In the four months I’ve been here, the table
tennis tournament was one of the best moments so
far. I am also working on one of the most exciting
projects of my life: Boloro - a new way to pay which
is basically paying for any purchases you make via
your mobile account. Not only has this project given
me access to work with different markets such as
Afghanistan and Kuwait, it has also allowed me to
work with some of the most talented individuals at
Creative Chaos.
08
I completed my bachelors in
2004 and started my career
in AKD Group of Companies
as an Assistant Accountant,
and by 2008 was promoted
to the Company Secretary and
Chief Accountant. After completing 6 years at AKD Group of Companies, I decided to switch from the Service
sector to the Manufacturing sector, joinedTime
Zone International Company Limited in June 2011.
After learning as much as I could I decided to switch
to the software industry. The reason I decided to join
Creative Chaos was because I felt that this company
was a place where I could learn, grow and develop.
After spending more than a month here, I made the
right decision. The directors are very cooperative
and the staff and work culture is amazing – I have
never seen anything like it before.
I would describe myself as a
diligent and committed individual who takes ownership of
everything he does. After completing my Bachelors in marketing from Southeastern University, I
ventured into Marketing, Advertising,
Sales and Project Management through
the course of my career. I have worked in two of
the world’s leading companies in their respective
industries; Microsoft and 3M and learned a lot in
terms of processes and systems. I decided to come
to Creative Chaos because it sounded like a very exciting place to work in and had great credibility and
goodwill in the market. When I spoke to Shakir and
Umair during my interviews and saw their passion,
vision and enthusiasm, I knew then that I wanted to
join Creative Chaos. The Directors, along with Shakir
and Umair believe in opportunities for growth and
giving an opportunity to learn.
Most Interesting Moment: When I promised my team a bronze but won a gold
medal for the 500 yard race at my
school in Muscat, Oman.
Where I see myself in 5
years: Being an amazing actress, married with kids, at a
higher rank in the organization than I am right now, and
at least 10 KGs thinner *fingers crossed*.
Favorite Song: Sarkiye ye
pahar – Strings, Grey hound
– Swedish House Mafia, Halka
HalkaSuroor – Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan,
With or without you – U2 and the list goes on.
I am great with people I meet for the first time and
have never had a problem making or keeping friends.
I did my Bachelors in Design (Communication) from
Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Apart
from working with Masala TV on and off for over 3
years, I have also done a lame music video, hosted
a couple of other live shows, worked at 14th Street
Pizza as a designer and was the head of digital at
ORIENT McCann. I like the fact that Creative Chaos
is flexible in many ways and that there is a lot of delegation and trust that is put into the employees. I felt
like an integral part of this organization from my first
day and that is what I love about the place!
