Spectacular prize
draw to raise money
for Help for Heroes
THE Countryman’s Weekly in
conjunction with Moonraker
Knives are running a spectacular
prize draw in aid of Help for
Heroes, an organisation which
supports members of the armed
forces who have been wounded in
the service of their country.
The prize fund is expected to include
around £4,000 worth of knives, some of
which have been specially crafted for
the draw. These include one by master
knifemaker Jim Downie worth £480, a buck
dagger worth £369 and a mora knife worth
£370. It is hoped that more prizes will be
added to the fund in the coming weeks and,
as they are, details will be printed in The
Countryman’s Weekly.

for Heroes. Every single penny raised will be
donated to Help for Heroes.
Winners will be drawn at random on The
Countryman’s Weekly and Moonraker Knives
stand on Sunday July 25 at The CLA Game
Fair, Ragley Hall, Alcester, Warwickshire.
Winners will be notified soon after and
delivery of their prize can then be arranged
if they are not in attendance at the Fair.

The stunning knife made by Jim Downie and engraved by Gaetan Beauchamp.
The handle is made from Mastodon Ivory (a prehistoric elephant that lived
between 20,000 and 1,000,000 years ago) with a stainless steel damascus blade.
HELP FOR HEROES is engraved on the underside of the handle.
